In this video, I'll tell you a little bit about how the tune hit the Billboard charts in 1939, and why it's still such a popular tune amongst jazz musicians today.
I've been practicing this quite a bit to sharpen my right-hand thumb technique...

Great Job. You seem to have developed killer technique in spite of no pick, especially on the faster playing which must be quite challenging without a pick!

The thumb is only used for the melody…..most of the solos are thumb and index
