2:30 Here you can see Freddy's vehicle drive across the screen right before he picks up an injured family with 3 kids and a dog. They were standing in the middle of the road next to their home which was entirely reduced to rubble by the tornado. I watched this all happen live, it also happened to be the first live storm chasing video i've ever watched. Man it was intense. Glad those people are ok. Great job Freddy!
Kid was sucked out of dad's arms when he saw roof collapsing and he went up instinctively to sheild himself. Kid landed 10 yards away from house onto pink insulation. They are all doing well.
Incredible footage. Thank you for chasing/ locating it & showing us this Rare power. Freddy Did an awesome job also, rescuing & taking those people to hospital.
Thank you. Thank you for the incredible video AND for not screaming continuously from beginning to end of the video like some others who will remain nameless.
Starting at about 0:14 a vehicle starts getting sucked into the beast at ground level on the right side then can be seen popping out on the left at 0:22 side then getting spit out, tumbled and raked along ground level and deposited in a heap around 0:33... then it gets taken around the merry go round another time. I suspect the house at the beginning might be where the family was hunkered down before being house was blown apart...then they somehow survived this whopper because at 2:30 you can see Freddy Mckinney's white suv chase car just about to pull up on the family that was in dire need of assistance. Unbelievable that they were in that and survived.. I really hope the family are all ok.
Those people he picked up, the wife posted the tornado live on fb as it was touching down and then their house took a direct hit. Her and her kids and husband are ok as of now. Just some broken bones and all getting a ct scan! Storm chasers did an excellent job reporting and getting us warned. I had 45 minutes to react! Very pleased with all the professionals. Saved a lot of people
On his channel? I checked it out but I didn't see anything like that unless it was live and the stream hasn't been uploaded. Trying to find the video cause I've heard from a few sources about it now.
Amazing the power and force those things have. Very clear, close up - dangerously close - we can hear the debris impacting the vehicle. Frickin scary power of nature.
Wow!!!!! Magnificent capture of a tornado......amazing. You are a one brave soul for sure. I ditto the comments of no commentary......just silence. Truly amazing video.
Great capture! Watch that sheet metal, even with just a window open. Gets pulled up in the center of the funnel can go few miles up, fall back 2-3 miles 360 degrees around the the funnel.
Awesome Tornado 🌪 video 👍👍👍👍👍 On May 2-2024 we has in the southern Netherlands ( Europe) severe thunderstorms! Hail from 2 Centimeter , heavy rain and a lot of lightning’s! Loud Thunders ! I have made videos from this storm !
Freddy Mckinney is a hero. Chaser Connor Croff went and found Freddy at the hospital. Hearing him on chaser Connor Croff's radio after getting them to the hospital, you could tell he was struggling after he got them to the hospital and realized what just happened. Only a little bit into the most active severe weather portion of the year and we're already seeing a solid few tornadoes reminiscent of past events, and also in mesoscale accidents like the Hollister wedge+anticyclonic tornadoes
There were a lot of country homes destroyed. The family it hit, took a direct hit but somehow they’re ok. Kids have broken bones and some bangs and bruises. Last i was told they’re getting CT scans. So far so good. This storm came out of nowhere too. Scary day for all of us

I saw someone comment "weak tornado" on a livestream of this because it didn't have a full condensation funnel most of the time lol. I hope that person doesn't ever get hurt when they mistake an invisible tornado for a weak tornado. Thing literally had vortices visible on the ground even when it was still otherwise mostly invisible.
Am I seeing this right? Did it stay stationary with the same slight bend in the stovepipe for quite awhile? (In tornado time terms that is.) Did it? Can anyone please let me know if you know for sure? Id appreciate it. But if so- That's super rare right?

Definitely not saying you’re wrong but after watching this at various speeds, seeing the object I think you’re talking about, it doesn’t fall and bounce like a vehicle would. Some basis is now I know what that looks like after week’s twisters had clear in 4K views of three vehicles including an RV you could watch picked up and rolled. It looks like the piece you’re looking at is a deformed piece of metal roof because if you zoom in it lacks particular parts a car would have but can’t be 100% certain either. It was horrific hearing what was happening in that car on the way to the hospital. Children were injured. I guess he was so focused on getting them help he did not even think about the live feed. We were all right there with him and many were praying on that route to the hospital. They took the video down QUICKLY. It was horrific hearing what was happening in the car. Freddy was a hero today for sure. Another chaser was talking with him afterwards, realized Freddy did not sound too good so he said he was cutting the stream and going to be with Freddy. After he got them to the hospital and realized what just happened it had to be traumatizing for him.
Man this has got to be one of the most active years for long tracked violent tornadoes! Usually this time of year I never have to worry much about the Tornadic season as I am in Wisconsin. But these storms have been in the upper Great Plains faaaaaaaaaaar earlier than I can recall, usually we are just ramping up for the southern plains this time of year. It's crazy.
