I'm a nobody with no meaningful results, but from what I've gathered, here's my thoughts: It's strong, but it needs its graveyard, and it should struggle going second against Ryzeal and Maliss. Furthermore, it's also very poor against both Purulia and Fuwalos while also not loving Nyalus. In my mind, it's similarly positioned to Memento, but Memento, though it essentially auto-loses into total GY denial like Dweller and Shifter, plays better against Mulcharmies and other hand traps. Plus, as a sad side-note, Ghost Ogre is increasingly popular and quite good against it, hitting Deception very hard. TL;DR - like Memento, but trades a better time against Dweller and Bystials for a worse time against Mulcharmies. Still learning, though; SUDA is gonna be exciting and the deck is super fun regardless.
Yeah fiendsmith Tenpai is strong, tested at locals and was destroying ryzel players. I played pure Tenpai last format and I had the same thought yesterday, is this deck just better then pure pre banlist Tenpai lol, we should have been testing engines in it a while ago
What do you think about a Bystial Fiendsmith pile with a lot of handtraps. It saw some fringe play the last couple of formats but with even more Fiendsmith cards around now figure it might be worth a revisit.
I’ve been trying to find a good recipe, I can’t seem to get the right ratios to avoid bricking. I don’t have fuwa, so some of my hands don’t really stop the opponent. I think Team King of Games on UA-cam has a good list.

I think Maliss Fiendsmith should be the best Maliss Variant. Lets them play under Lancea as FS lets ryzeal play under barrier. Im noticing a trend also where people are playing heavier bystial packages in their fiendsmith variant decks.
Ive seen several top players saying the format has been seeing less handtraps since ryzeal has a clear chokepoint and maliss dies to 9 targeted handtraps post side. Wouldnt that trend make mermail more viable?
The centurion thing throws me off bc the handtraps we run this format are the exact same as last when it did well… the only thing that changed is the clear best decks in the room Ryzeal/Maliss
What do you think of melodious and chimera fiendsmith? Jesse kotton mentioned melodious was well positoned this format because aria interacts well into detonator

I've been on fs ryzeal since YCS Anaheim. With bystials being put into main decks everywhere I'm considering moving back to pure to try and combat the bystials. Any thoughts or am I overthinking? Edit: I commented before finishing the video lolo. Sounds like kashtira ryzeql might be the better move
Yubel is one of the scariest decks this format. It’s very consistent ending on Varudras, SOR, phantom, ceaser or Desirae with escape set. Multiple one card combos that accomplish this. One phantom is all they ever needed. The deck is a monster in the correct pilot hands. Easily one of the best decks
@ the deck isn’t good in anyone hands. That’s why I mentioned a good pilot. There’s also no relevant source for updated combos as most require multiple phantoms. If any good players with yubel has been in the lab since the new banlist they know exactly what I’m saying here. I’ve seen players in top 8 YCS on stream with yubel that had me face palming. Good thing is that it takes talent to use properly.
@@GreyJedi36bro acting like its that hard to play. it takes very similar routes even through different type of disruptions and isnt crazy hard to play since there are only a few different plays possible in most gamestates

It can help your Duo to resolve, or you can end on an Detonater in the EMZ and set the card. Even going 2nd and getting to Detonater worked out amazing. What are your thoughts about this? Ofc it is not making the deck tier 1, but I had some fun. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

The problem by skystriker Maliss is,if you use first turn is good but in Grind you have 2 death engage cards
Thoughts on white forest azamina? Is it worth playing after supreme darkness? Three wanted and three black witch in the tcg makes it super consistent.

Unicorn is full Ryzeal combo actually. Don’t even need fuwa
Technically you can use arsenal falcon to special a fuwa from deck so you really only need Unicorn.

Only thing I disagree with is Rescue Ace in binder tier. It’s actually trash tier. Deck got nuked back to the Stone Age.
