Hey all! Thank you so much for coming back to watch these videos. All your kind words and passion for this adventure mean a lot to me 🙏 The next video (Tuesday) will be a celebration of this trip to Alaska and the following video (next Saturday) will be the start of act 3!
I'm really enjoying the vicarious adventure you're providing. Please keep riding, not driving ;-) to all of the little out of the way spots we all drive by and look up longingly "I wonder what's up there?" Enjoy! 🙂
I don’t think anyone has captured the beauty of a journey the way you have Eric… these aren’t vlogs; they’re each a cinematic masterpiece that allows us to travel with you on this adventure. Thanks for taking us along on this epic pilgrimage across this beautiful planet!
Eric, I came over from BCpov, and honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to watch much here because it was such a departure from that. Now, I'm so glad I did. I'm hooked. Thank you for sharing your amazing adventure. There are so many moments where we feel like we are right there with you. It's crazy to think you are still just beginning. You have inspired my son and I to start planning our own adventure. Congratulations on reaching Prudhoe Bay! Looking forward to what's to come!
Ah ha, a clue here to when Eric actually made this part of the journey. Sunset at midnight puts him in the first week of August, so 5 months ago! Verrry curious where he is now. I guess we all get to wait and see. Also, thanks for the extra push Eric, I’ve had this trip on my list for a couple years, plus I met a Czech guy on the road this last year doing the trip from Ushuaia to Prudhoe that put me on the edge. The marker is in the sand for me now. This year first of August I hope to have MY picture in Deadhorse. Ride on.
I’ve seen the Dalton Highway a fair bit on Ice Road Truckers, but seeing it in summer and not on ‘reality TV’ is…..wow. It’s absolutely stunning. The drone shots of Atigan Pass… wow. Just wow.
Love meeting all the people alone the route with you. Makes me reminisce on my own journeys and all the folks I met. Thanks for sharing this experience and I'm excited to tag along from home!
Massive congratulations to arriving in Prudhoe Bay! Your channel is my new favourite, I am watching Noraly (Itchy Boots) ride through the Middle East, but I look forward to your films even more! Keep up the great work! 👌
Thanks for the top quality content Eric. I've watched LOADS of bike trips through Alaska over the years, but never seen it look so good. Have a burger on me 👍🏻
So psyched to be here since the beginning, and now the *real (?)* beginning. Not only is this some of the best content on youtube, but the miles you're covering and the pace that you're putting out these videos is blowing my mind. Can't wait for more!
"Hello, where are you headed" Valdez " I thought you were going to say Argentina or something." I know a tip of the hat to Iohan Gueorguiev when I see one. Real nice. loving your adventure and it is just beginning.
This small planet that we live on is so beautiful and I would like to thank you Eric for taking me on this journey. I would never be able to see this for myself and it is such a wonderful place, so till Tuesday rest and take in your location and people. Cheers.
Well done Eric, been following you from getting your license. It was interesting to compare the Canadian system with the British. I took my m/c test 60 years ago when it was very simple and used a 500 Matchless and sidecar ( otherwise one was limited to a 250 or smaller). The sidecar came off the same day that I passed the test. Still riding on and off road. A great way to stay young! Cheers, Tom 24:33
V from Estonia here again, congratulations on reaching Prudhoe Bay! Never done this paid thanks before but it kind of feels like a good occasion for this. May this help towards your fuel for yourself and your two-wheeled companion and lodging for you both! Can't wait to see more, drive safe!
The happiness mixed with relief on your face upon reaching Prudhoe bay is priceless. Many thanks for bringing us along on this wonderful journey. Will be praying for your safe travel on your long ride down to Newzealand. Greetings from the Philippines 😊
As someone from the Netherlands, seeing all this "nothingness" amazes me. I don't think you can travel 15 minutes on bike without seeing a single building from any point within the Netherlands. Love the nature shots!
Great videos Eric, keep on keeping on! Love the drone footage, amazing. Looking forward to each new video and praying for an exciting but safe journey brother! I seen this cool rider safety jacket you might consider, Helite Turtle 2 Airbag Vest. Could be used as a flotation device too. LOL. WOW, the great Spiral starting point next video, woohoo!
Congratulations Eric. I’ve been a faithful follower from day 1. I must admit I got bit choked up when you met the fellow at “the sign” and he said he started his ride in Ushuaia. What an amazing journey to cover the Pan America Highway by motorcycle. And your journey will take you even further!
Looking forward to the official beginning of your journey. Those views were amazing on camera, I can only imagine how much better it was for you in person!
Your subscriber numbers keep increasing, which is great! Congratulations on making it to Prudhoe Bay. Riding all that way really set you up for some great riding, confidence and just plain fun. Wow, the journey will now begin to look and feel different. Very exciting! Safe travels!
Eric, I also have come over from BCPOV. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I have got by watching you head through my backyard (Prince George area) all the way up to the real beginning. I have been sharing your video's with my wife and kid to show them all the cool places we can adventure to in the summer that are close to home. Your new channel/show here has quickly become my favorite. I never comment on videos, but i really feel the need to compliment you on your adventure and the way you're capturing and sharing with us. I'm also enjoying following your ride along on Google Earth, try to figure out where you are from the drone/landmarks. Enjoy the ride!
June of 2021 2 of my friends and myself rode the Dalton from Kentucky. Your videos remind me how much I miss it. The beauty is beyond words. Thank you so much for excellent work.
Greetings from Australia. Congratulations Eric. I hope you celebrated and took time to let reaching this huge milestone in your adventure sink in. Your videos are next level & the top of my playlist. You pack so much into each episode, which is a true testament to your skill & professionalism. I very much enjoy your storytelling, the effort you put into getting the shot, your drone footage, your conversations with the locals, and the genuine authenticity of your experience. I hope more people get behind your adventure - I’ve been passing it around my circle. You’re an inspiration & I’m rooting for you to make it to the bottom of NZ. I can’t wait to see what challenges are thrown at you and how you face them. Ride safe mate & keep up the fantastic work 👍 Ping me if you pass through Sydney on your way to NZ - I know a few people who’d love to meet you in person and hear your stories 1st hand. I’d be happy to help out with accomodation and any other support you need in & around Sydney if you need it. Cheers Ashley
Not only you but we all viewers are overjoyed by reaching the northern most tip of the motorable road. On the way, I enjoyed nice drone shots of the arctic terrain. Eric this channel is already a great success. It will keep growing. Very nice journey. Thanks for your efforts.
I can’t wait for the next video!! How exciting this has become. As we were watching this video I asked my husband, “why can’t we go there?” His reply, “we can!” He works from home and has been looking into working from the road. (Except when he has to visit plants he has responsibility’s at) He is also researching buying a one ton (or larger) truck for an in bed camper. It might be 2/3 years from now that we will be semi full time on the road. From Madison, Ohio I think we can drive there comfortability in 8 days or so. I also want the ability to be able to stop often and soak in the scenery! Thank you Eric! I really appreciate you bringing us along and working hard on editing the video.
Congratulations Eric for doing the first part of your trip! Thank you for sharing all the pictures and the things that happen to you. I‘m looking forward to alle the things to come :-). - Jens
Eric, if you don't have time going through comments, I left a long one ( 6 days ago video) about how to manage your chain.😊. Great videos.. honestly. You're humility, normality and good looks (sorry, smile , sounds better!!) are adfuctive.
In your video, you said “look at that!” - as you were enjoying the beauty of the mountains. At that moment I was looking at the pipeline thinking how ugly it is. What we see, and focus on, is often a choice. And you made the better choice. Enjoy the ride!
I don't mind the pipeline too much. It tells a bit of a story. It would be nice if it wasn't there, but then I guess the road wouldn't be there. I find power lines and clear cuts to be a bit uglier.
Amazing Eric! Congratulations on reaching the first point of your journey. I can’t believe after all these great videos you will start your journey just now. Just beautiful . Thank you for sharing all this amazing adventure.
Absolutely Epic, I've been following your journey from the start and I must say what a beautiful part of the world you've taken all of us to. Well done. Eagerly waiting for more.
I am so happy that I have found your channel. It turns out even more exciting with every episode. I started with watching you passing the test for your driving license and now your journey just actually begins! Thank you for sharing this, Eric 🏆 Wish you great adventures during your big spiral. Greetings from Germany.

Loving the adventure Eric, the work to put this all together, well done. Good job with the drone shots and not losing it. They really add to your visual story telling. Such a spectacular landscape.
Congratulations on reaching the start of your actual journey! Been following you since the BCPow days and loved that series as well. Been really enjoying this new series and look super much forward to seeing how it all goes! Really hope u get enough subscribers so you can keep going! Best regards from Sweden!

Wow Eric. Congratulations on making it to the start of your journey. Stunning photography as usual. You have such a great attitude and appreciation of everything around you. Stay safe.

What is the delay of your videos. From filming to posting?
@@Shadyarva I've been wondering as well. has to be like 6 months, right?
I enjoy every upload, thank you for not having a whaling guitar in your videos.
