Thanks so much for this!! Literally less than 1 hour ago my Samsung Galaxy watch I got for Christmas the Sensor Cover Fell Off!!!!😭😭😭😭 I saw it had a sticky adhesive on it so I'm gonna go tmrwvor tues to try & find the glue you got or something just as good!! Appreciate it!!
While there were moments when I wished for straightforward directions instead of watching/listening to the trial & error process, I was ultimately grateful to see what wasn't working (and why) because the "errors" helped me consider different tools that might work better. When all was said and done, I also used toothpicks to clean and apply, but I found that the pick at the end of a "dental stick" (floss + pick combo) worked best for application because the tip is slightly pointier. I also followed the advice of the previous comment and applied the adhesive to the insert ring instead of the watch itself, and that seemed to be more effective and less messy. (I tried applying to the base first and the ring popped off soon after application.) I also noticed that the bezel was easier to turnyhe second time, likely because I didn't over-apply. Finally, I used a couple of kitchen bag clasps (with rubber pads) to serve as a very soft clamping mechanism, which worked better than me applying pressure with my fingers. Thanks for the video!
It's called a bezel insert, if completely lost you can purchase one at a jewelry store or online. Just make sure it is 40mm as the watch is 40mm, if a 40mm one is not available just get one that will fit snug. After getting a new insert, just glue it to the bezel to secure it. This can also help customize your watch to make it individual as all the gear watches look the same.
I had the same problem. I used gorilla glue.. tiny dabs with a pin needle all the way around the whole thing spaced about 3 to 5mm apart. I have not had it come apart! It's been great ever since and I've gone swimming with my watch on multiple times. Hope this helps.
UPDATE 2 months later. The trim bezel ring just came off while I was washing my hands. Probably because I rinsed my arms off with a garden hose a few days ago after gardening. I'm going to re-apply the same silicone I used in the video, but aim to do a better job at it. Also, I'm going to stop washing the watch :( A damp paper towel will have to do from now on.
Nice approach man... But I think the best and original way to fix this is using DOUBLE STICK TAPES (ones of good quality). Just cut in a tiny strip (two or three pieces) and aplly around the bezel and press the ring.
Check Ebay. I found this: www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gear-S2-Classic-Black-SM-R732-with-Detached-Bezel-Ring-SM-R7320ZKAXAR-/162404010499?epid=219576306&hash=item25d0088a03:g:O6gAAOSwOgdYwa3v
What Watch Face is that? Looks awesome! I almost wish the bezel piece that popped off yours was replaceable with different optional bezel rings as I love the look of the S3 Frontier’s dark bezel ring with the minute small lines and quarter hour big lines. The S3 is too big, but quite like the size of the S2 LTE and that gives me a speaker unlike the regular S2 models and Sport.
Hey Guys, it may be a bit late considering we're 4 models later down the road but I recently stumbled upon a site that has 100% Genuine Samsung Gears S2 Classic Ceramic Bands for sale right now after having been chasing them for alnost as long as they've been out. I literally got mine a month ago & Daniel, the sales rep said he still had a few in stock. If you're interested just reply here & I'll give you the link...? I paid $65 AUD + postage & I can assure you they are the real deal.
So I found this video after already trying to fix the bezel myself I superglued it down and now my bezel doesn't spin I dont advise this method. lol Any ideas how I could fix this f#$k up?
If you still have it, I was able to fix mine but putting a small amount of acetone in a bowl and putting the watch face down in it. Just enough to cover the bezel. It took some trial and error as I kept increasing how long I soaked it but the last soak was about 10-15 minutes and it's working again.

@@TeksTherapy that link doesn't work
I've been a model assembler since I was a kid... I would have put the silicone on the ring first, then placed the ring on the bezel. Just my 2cents
Hey I really like the watch face you are using.. can I get the name of it? Thanks in advance
If you tap around the whole bezel does it make a sound that kinda clicks?
or is it wrong with my watch?
had the same problem.

Hey, great video. Do you know where I can get the bezel insert? I seen you replied to a previous comment about it but the link no longer works.
I've done the same, can't seem to find an actual replacement for it....but some rings are that made to cover it. Anyone tried those?

I think you missed a spot even after wiping for 6 minutes.
Why don't you take out all the unnecessary scenes and bring your video time down to 2 minutes?!
+darknights84 Because I don't want to.
