Every time I hear "Dawsonville," I think of "Wild Jill from Dawsonville." She was a folk artist who lived in Dawsonville, and her work was at Matilda's art gallery on Highway 9 in Alpharetta. I haven't been to Dawsonville in quite a while. In the late 90s, it seemed underdeveloped to put it politely.
I lived in Dawsonville for a year in a new home a couple years ago. The area is very born and bred and unfriendly for north Georgia. I would like the other parts of N. Ga better.
I grew up there. It’s a great community to be a part of. It’s close to everything and makes for a great place to raise a family.
It’s definitely a great place and convenient to shopping, dining and tons of outdoor activities

Dawsonville was much different in the late 90s. Back then, it felt like exit 14 (Hwy 20) in Cumming was the edge of the earth.
Crazy money for homes! I personally would not want to move to a rapidly increasing population. Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!

Sorry to hear that
