- Finally got the chance to upload again, here's my edit of my complete brake refresh for my car. Below is the full list of all the parts installed on 9/20/2020. Stay tuned big changes are coming up...
95 - 00 Ls400 Stoptech Drilled/Slotted Rotors
EBC Redstuff Brake Pads for TT Supra/Ls400
93 - 98 TT Rear Supra Calipers
Sc300 Stoptech Stainless Steel Lines
My IG: @2jway
The best part about this-no tacky intro, just right to it. Good stuff.
Question about the rear Supra TT brakes. I just threw those on my SC, but the brake pads wiggle a lot. Are they supposed to be tight in the caliper or have wiggle?
Looks great! I've got a very similar setup on my car.
Nice! How was the before and after feeling? I feel like I need to bleed my abs system for less sponginess
@@2jway still a little spongy for my taste. I think the main issue is the ls400 calipers are 4 piston while the stock sc had 2 piston fronts. I think the stock master cylinder can't displace enough brake fluid to quickly fill the pistons which is why we get spongy brakes. I've bled everything and even with the stainless lines and stuff, it's still a little soft for my taste. Still way better than stock though
@@gladski14 yeaaa maybe I sound like Im in the exact same boat as you lol. It's definitely better than stock yea but my friends is300 also has Ls400 fronts and his bites immediately.
@@2jway yeah I'd have to investigate the differences in size between the is300 master cylinder and the one off the sc.
super clean yo, did you use a wire wheel to knock the rust off?
Yes sir but it just comes back thats why in my rear subframe video, i just coated everything. But for rotors its just best to get better quality
😍
Great video! What rotors did you use for the front? Ls or supra rotors?,
Ls400
I have a 2000 model, what brakes are these? I'd like to find out where I can get some they look sick. Specifically the calipers.
Hey man sick vid! Do you have the link for the rear calipers??
Bought from local seller. No direct link sorry
@@2jway damn 😔 I’m hopefully getting a soarer soon and I wanted to do front and rear bbk, also do the tt Supra front calipers fit like the ls 400?
@@o.rgarage9660 yea it’s direct bolt on
@@2jway that’s sick! I can’t wait! Great video btw
I have a big question I bought the steel breaded lines for my sc and I could not make them fit in the female part (the car line) they are stop tech what's the part number u got for ur set up. If they are stop tech witch it looked like they are.
Yea I had some trouble threading mine on for the rear. Just gotta play around with it making sure the threads r fully flush and level
@@2jway I tried bro but they don't seem to go in or even be level if straight with each other
Any updates on this?:(
U can even check when u place the line over the original fitting the crimped part on the line is bigger then the thread on the female side.
Does the ls400 caliper bolt right up to the SC knuckle with ls400 bolts?
Yes
Supra brake calibers are really just bolt on?
U bet
@@2jway Have to look for those as my soarers front calibers second piston sealant is broken😄
Do you have a link to the brake lines
Many sites carry them so just look for the best price 👍
Where did you get the rotors
Supra was from ebay I think and ls was vividracing or smthn
Say lexsus without lex
