In this, the last Episode 4 from Quantum Break, you'll see what Surrender option from Junction 4 cause on future events. Sofia will be killed (because of decision in Junction 3 to trust Martin Hatch), and Liam as well (by Hatch).

@@coolcat6703 Shifters exist in a state of superposition - there’s multiple versions of the same shifter. One version got killed but the other versions are still around, meaning that the shifter stays alive.
