I have a few questions: 1. How do I make theorem numbering different from definition numbering. I want: Definition 1.1 Theorem 1.1 Theorem 1.2 Definition 1.2 Not Definition 1.1 Theorem 1.2 Theorem 1.3 Definition 1.4 I want to do the same for axiom, corollary, lemma ,etc, environments 2. How do I make keyboard shortcuts? 3. If 2. is not possible then is there an easier way for me to environments. For example, can I select some text press some buttons to make it in a definition environment. Thank you very much
I am trying to replicate the example in the video, but I could not figure out how to label an equation. Esc !, Esc shift ! does not work on my Mac. (I tried to subscribe to mailing list but I could not pass the step of setting the first password - sympa returns an error and asks me to login every time).
Hi Eduardo. The keyboard shortcuts are system-dependent (see the video on keyboard conventions). By default, you may use Ctrl-! on a Mac. Concerning the mailing list: I was notified about your subscription. You should be able to post. If not, then please contact us in private.
Hi, thank you so much for this useful video. Now Im moving into Texmacs. I have a question about typing references, how do I include several references like [1,2,3,4]?
When entering a citation, look at the third (and smallest) toolbar (called the "focus" bar): it contains two arrows with a green plus sign inside. These buttons can be used to insert extra arguments for the "cite" tag. (The same mechanism works for various other markup elements, e.g. inserting a new column in a table).
I really, really love TeXmacs..!
Thanks, Roberto!
This is awesome ^-^
Thanks for your encouragement!

Inside a theorem or definition, use 'Focus -> Preferences -> European numbering style'.
@@texmacsvideos5790 Thanks.

@@texmacsvideos5790 Many thanks.
@@texmacsvideos5790 hi, Ctrl-! did not work on Mac, is there any button we could click on GUI or manual typing format to label as we did in latex?
for ppl who has the same puzzle on Mac, please try control+shift+1 to get ctrl-!

@@texmacsvideos5790 thank you so much. I love texmacs, now im figuring out how to install it on debian 11 bullseye
Do you (or anyone) have a video on how to structure a multi-file BOOK? Thx.
Not yet, but thanks for the suggestion; we will keep it in mind!
