I couldn’t believe that drill fits inside the STH 10!
Throw Skittles inside the turbine while it spins and you get a Skittle cannon :D
TASTE THE RAINBOW!
as that an STH-10 with 3 projectors? hopefully very soon, i'm gonna get one of these monsters!
awesome job owning on of them, i'l look forward for more drill test and restoration :))
my son Joe a love that siren he sees on every day even in Dalton Thursday Friday and Saturday he'll be doing the noon siren recording test
Why did you stop filming early? It was still at like atleast 100 RPMs or so.
The camera could've shatter in moments because the sirens so powerful!!
First one of these I ever encountered was in Andrews, TX. It went off when I was standing under it (not knowing it was there). OUCH!
This siren has a great sound! I´m looking foward to a full alert!
Strong drill.
Civil Defense is a government organization. I don't know much about that, but I DO know that it is not a brand of siren or siren controller or siren part. The siren manufacturers, such as Federal Signal and ACA, put Civil Defense (CD) stickers on their products back in the day to let people know "This is a unit of your Civil Defense". Some of the stickers actually say that, like on some Allertors.
Getting my hands on this and placing it in the barangay hall in newlucban will support the STL 10 Japanese version here in the city
Modified as a mushroom and the tone of an elektor from germany
This wouldn't happen to be from a small town near Stillwater, NY is it? Cause they recently replaced an STH-10 with a model 2 also.
What makes this siren so loud?
Cool.
In this video this Federal Signal Model STH-10 looks like a very large Q siren to me. This siren looks to be in good shape and sounds nice. Thank you for the video.
sounds like a nice worn in set of tsl boggers
The STH-10 just said: 🚁 then ✈️
Just because it's a "Civil Defense Siren" doesn't mean it was MADE by Civil Defense. It means it's a part of Civil Defense. And no, that was Chrysler. And only Chrysler. And yes, that was a siren used for Civil Defense.
Nice! I would tape the socket to the drill If it ever fell off into the spinnng rotor, it could cause damage.
eather that is a heavy choper or some damn good bearings cause tha takes a long time to wind down
So that's what that yellow siren was from your CLM Removal vid.
Small town near the helderbergs?
How Do YOu get all these sirens?
You can use it as a wood chipper lol
Wake up peeps with that. If someone stays over, place it in the same room and crank it up.
A for 3 phase, B for single phase. This was the limited edition DC for direct current phase
@@YourAverageMODude145 He spun the siren with a power drill, a battery powered drill, that's runs on battery, which outputs DC current. What I said may have been a joke?
This one's rotor looks different than the others I've seen. Great vid, though!
For a second I thought it was painted gold
Супер , я твой подписчик !
That's the Chrysler Air Raid siren, you are thinking of... (not Civil Defense..)
Is it a coaster siren?
wououououououiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiououououououououououououououououououououououououououououououououououououououououo!!!
The openings are too small. Stator openings should be 50/50. Why stop before rotor stops?
single tone high 10 port? im guessing that is what 10 means. i have never really thought about it
lol don,t wanna do that it might make a hot dog i can sell lol
Schade das der Motor nicht Läuft. Diese Sirene klingt sehr gut.
this siren's parts are the same as the thunderbeam
+EPIC CREAKY The Thunderbeam is basically a STH-10 with a rotating Disc under it
the thunderbeam uses the same exact casting and motor from the sth-10. a few federal 500s do to (only older, single tones)
They need to put capacitors on Sth 10s lol.
NO! They do not! XD
The world will end before the rotor has stopped spinning
Slowly Drill
You can use a capacitor!, not a drill. You need more speed!
@HotTop202 sound
Full alart!
Chrysler... war? I'm not following you here. You're right, its a Chrysler brand motor with the siren engineered by Victory Siren Company.
How did you get the siren?
@@deleteddeleted172 I heard they scrapped most of their sirens. Do they have any sirens left and if so are they selling them?
I don't know I live in Kansas I've only heard of West Shore Services a Thunderbolt with the blower and controls is $500 from what I've heard
Sounds like a car.
Read things.
Sounds like me when I wake up in the morning
looks like theres alot you need to learn buddy,
Ha ha better bearings for your car!
Make the intakes on the holes! :(
Do some research before you post...
"Federal Signal was founded in Chicago, Illinois, in 1901 by John Goehst and James and John Gilchrist. Samuel Insull later acquired the Company. The Company went public in 1969 under the leadership of Robert T. Gilchrist."
"Civil defense (Civil defence), (see spelling differences) or civil protection is an effort to protect the citizens of a state (generally non-combatants) from military attack."
CD and Federal Signal are two completely different things.

If you listen carefully it sounds like it saying yyyyyyoooouuuurrrrrr mmmmmoooooooooooommmmmm.
stick a big screw driver in it lol
Junk.
Legend has it this siren is still winding down.
After 10 years 😳
