It's a shame that a huge talent like Di'anno wasn't up and running soon after Maiden. Battlezone and Killers were 'good' but came a little late and he should have gotten further than that.
Indeed, I was just thinking the same thing! When Di'Anno came up with its first solo album in 1984, Iron Maiden had already released three masterpieces after his departure, The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave! Meanwhile, the first solo album of Di'Anno was much weaker and not metal! This 1985 album was again something less heavy than the first two Iron Maiden albums. Btw, in the last song of this album, Gers is playing a solo that he later reused in The X Factor album.
@@davidebasile9422 What could have been, right? He was rock's best voice imo. "Btw, in the last song of this album, Gers is playing a solo that he later reused in The X Factor album." Interesting! Got to hear it again. Love that album.
