Invasion is initially interesting, but the series quickly lose its focus on the actual invasion and instead moves it focus to family drama, secret love affairs, LGBT relationships and the difficulties of being bullied in school. The cast is also incredibly politically correct, to the point where literally every race has an equal amount of representation in every setting and it just feels incredibly unnatural and forced. There are also so many examples of 'strong female leads' (while the men usually fall to incompetence/being scumbag cheats), and multiple references to 'muh white man bad' from minority groups... The whole series just screams 'Progressive Hollywood' to the point where its politically correct messaging seems to be of more importance than the actual plot itself, and progressive politics just doesn't make for good entertainment.

Horribly written, I found myself yelling to the kids and mom,,,"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!"

Watched this series a few weeks ago, one of the best things i've watched in a minute. How had I not heard of this series before? Great watch, highly recommend.
Because the trailer was 2 minutes 16 seconds long. Which is about 2 minutes and 14 seconds longer than the current attention span of society these days.

Just watched the first episode. Big-budget production supporting a fresh-outta-film school-quality screen play. Nope. People do not need to waste their time with this garbage. Starts out great. Incredible suspense, some of the characters are forgettable and almost ruin the series, but it can't all be perfect. Then there is the final episode. Complete and utter garbage.

Nope. People do not need to waste their time with this garbage. Starts out great. Incredible suspense, some of the characters are forgettable and almost ruin the series, but it can't all be perfect. Then there is the final episode. Complete and utter garbage.

Battle L.A was still the best and most realistic earth vs alien invasion movie.
In the way that it took the aliens over an hour to get from Santa Monica pier to the 405, yes, but there wasn't a single wrecked Prius on any of the streets, so a clear fail there!
A race capable of traveling light years, facing humans almost hand-to-hand? and easy to kill with a lot of weak points in combat? With a technology... let's say 60 years more developed than ours? not kidding, it's a movie shit.
Check out The Thing it's an 80s alien invasion movie. If you enjoyed battle la you should really really enjoy the thing.
