When Alain appeared with Dick, he seemed very amiable and desired harmony with Cavett, yet, for some unapparent reason, Dick seemed a bit antagonistic during the interview. This guy really is a movie star. This interview was filmed back in the 1970s, and as a Frenchman, he speaks English seamlessly well, with barely noticeable French accent compare to most French people in general when speaking English, not to mention how he's so well versed in English expressions and such.
Oh yes.. the more you watch him the more you love him, I have discovered there is something really childish about him, the way he expressed himself, emotions ruled him for sure, and then he has this arrogant dismissive attitude but that is only to protect how sensitive he really was, people don't get Alain, they think of him as cruel , a pirate, who is capable of killing even, but the more you read what people who really shared with him say about their interactions with him ,you realize he was way more innocent that he appeared, and that makes him even more precious.

The quality of this talk show was just amazing! The first time I saw it on youtube I thought it was an english talk show but it's an american one! Dick Cavett was trying to confuse Delon but it backfired. How ungracious to use slang to throw him off, but Delon not only caught it, he turned it right back, elegantly and without any malice. After that, he totally charming Elsa Lancaster. Cavett was struggling for words.
DC was the worst interviewer on the planet. Always condescending and disrespectful to guests.

The quality of this talk show was just amazing! The first time I saw it on youtube I thought it was an english talk show but it's an american one! Dick Cavett was such an incredible interviewer with all his guests, it's a pity that this kind of talk show doesn't exist anymore, nowdays the american talk show are so cheap and uninteresting except maybe the talk show of charlie rose!
