Andrey Vasin, aka Strashnyy Kurt, is a former Grazhdanskaya Oborona participant. At the turn of the eighties and nineties he recorded several demos and albums. Nowadays he is not engaged in music.
ABOUT COMPILATION:
Kilotons of hatred and poison on the ears of the uninitiated! A real sound hell for mainstream lovers! A great gift for anyone who understands. A poignant mix of Hardcore Punk and Thrash from the depths of the Siberian underground. The records date back to 89-92 years. At that time, no one played like that on the territory of our Great and Immense, while the project did not find much fame. Perhaps the most striking mention was the lines in the song of Mr. Letov.
ABOUT RELEASE:
All available and carefully restored material of an undeniably cult Siberian personality - CURT (and his CONTRAS) was first released on CD in a beautiful mini vinyl package. The disc contains both official material: Hebephrenia ’90 and No Place for Life ’91, as well as a demo of '89 and an unreleased staff of '92. It is 22 songs and almost an hour of plague sound that jumped out of dirty punk, slipped through raw hardcore and burst into straightforward and evil thrash metal. The totally misanthropic lyrics deserve special attention. Even half of the most “evil” black metalheads will not be able to cope with such intensity.
