In my opinion, it will be highly delusional to hold unto your money thinking there will be an apocalyptic market crash. My advice is, Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless. Dont give in to the bullshit of an imminent market crash since it's all bogus hype. The market will exist no matter what happens.

No that is not US debt works. What China owns is US Treasury bonds. They can sell this debt anyone they want to or they can wait until the end of the period.
For the right money any bond can be set to AAA+, the Rating agency clearly say, they can NOT be Held accountable for any rating they give, Invest at your own risk. This is true across the globe.

Building apartments that nobody lives in.China GDP consist of 29% real estate sectors. unlike the U.S where in there regulatory system investors or home owner me pay 10% down payment for any home loan purchase. Where as in China they have to pay 100% upfront for a home that hasn’t even been built yet. You see this scheme sounds like they were getting money from investors and citizens to pay for home development projects and use that money to build mor homes in hope of getting more money from these new investors to pay back the first investors.
