@4:19!! Barak is a Tributary to Surma River!! Since When?? Sir Barak is not a tributary to Surma but Barak itself divided into two rivers, Surma and Kushiyara in Karimganj Dist and enter Bangladesh...where these two rivers again rejoin at Kishoreganj Dist, Dhaka Division, Bangladesh and form Meghna River!!!

I am confused regarding the Periodization of Assam history. Sir, can you please elaborate? According to what I have read, the history of Assam can be divided into four eras namely ancient era, the medieval era, the colonial era and the post-colonial era.
