Ahoms didn't let Mughals to conquer our lands even after attacking 17 times. I'm sure that mainland Indians will also feel proud after watching this video.

Ahoms also practiced a kind of history writing called " Buranjis" - Chronicles . This was similar to Rajtarangini of Kalhana except that every king and nobel family had one Buranji .
Though Ahoms were less in number , their bravery and fighting skill made mighty mughal army running for its life, Glorifying mughals is a common practice in Indian history, but we had much prosperous and intelligent dynasties all over India which our history books rarely mention about

Lachit commissioned his maternal uncle to build that dam which was supposed to keep out the marching mughal army but his uncle got lazy and there were few hiccups while bringing the project to a completion. To set an example Lachit beheaded his own uncle saying the words which translates to 'my uncle is not greater than the country.' Such was the man.
Proud on Ahoms...We Indians are full of bravery but lack of unity...We also had traitors like Jaichand, and Laluk. If other kings also had fought like Maharana Pratap, Prithviraj and Lachit, Turks and Afghans would have never looted or conquered India.

Ahom kingdom started from 1228, first king was Sukapha. And last king was Purandar Singha in 1833... They ruled almost 600 years in Assam. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏জয় আই অসম
