Great vid. I have a question. There are pro wireless units that fit on a pedalboard right? Like the Shure GLXD 16. Are those kinds of units not standard in the pro audio scene?
Not in my experience and the circles I run in. Because there can be so many channels between mics, instruments, and in-ear packs it’s best if one person is managing them all so they can insure there’s no interference or issues.
Maybe a bit of an off topic question, but if someone is running a super simple acoustic and vocal mix for a show, would a DI or mixer be a better first purchase? I'm guessing probably the mixer, right?
Maybe could be used with a guitar amp that has only line level fx loop to be able to use ordinary pedals. I have a Mesa Boogie Mx iii that that could help with?

I guess maybe a better way to put it is… it’s not expected of the players to have their own wireless in the different situations I’ve been in.

Not sure that works as you need all 1/4” ins and outs right?
@@MichaelWWestbrook Easy enough to make up 1/4” to XLR leads. Would lose the balanced aspect of course.
