  • On the auspicious day of Mahashashthi presenting a Bengali composition 'Tomar Agomony' beautifully rendered by my dear friend Pallavi Pargaonkar. This lovely song is originally sung composed and written by a pianist-vocalist duo 'Sourendro - Soumyojit' ji in their album 'Tumar Agomoni'.
People from West Bengal celebrate Durga Pujo with a zeal. And not only people but the entire nature is eagerly awaits for the arrival of Goddess Durga .
And today a devotee is sensing the 'agomon', the arrival of Goddess Durga through the nature.
'Aaj Prabhate aloy aloy bhorecche e Dharoni'
Oh mother Durga today earth had lit up everywhere, Shiuli (parijat) flowers and Shishir (Autum) are spreading the news of your arrival. Oh Goddess even my heart has started playing the melody of your arrival.
That heart which is filled with good and bad things. Your divine light may remove the darkness from my heart.
You are my mother and you are the one who brings prosperity.
My Goddess Durga passify our sorrows, pains and worries and illuminate our lives with courage, strength, wisdom and prosperity 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
