I'm trying to create a A3 paper texture but the effect is too small. I moved arroudn the filters to see if the effect is more notizable but I can't get the same effect. What should I do? THank you
Such a helpful video! However, what would I do to make this an overlay? So I could apply it to my entire graphic? I’m building a portfolio to apply to my local architecture school and I have all of these geometric perspectives that I want to apply this kind of texture to. What should I do?
I'm a newbie and am following you steps well. However, we I get to the filter part of the instructions and open it up my document looks black. Do you know why and how I can fix this? thanks
I followed this tutorial, but there doesn't seem to be any change to my shape. When I pull up the filter layer, I see the texture applied, but not in my normal artboard window. Any suggestions?
It doesn't matter to me that you were tired, but thanks for doing this in spite of being tired. It doesn't show too much, but the important thing is that what does show is a very good tutorial -- thanks for doing it.
Hey, cool tutorial! I'm hoping you can help me understand why my filters aren't applying. I've followed everything to a T and see my filter gallery icons under the smart filter icon but no effect is showing. Thanks in advance.
hey I've made a logo on illustrator and I would love to give it this paper texture, I copy and pasted it on a seperate layer between the paper textures (the way you did with the text) but it didn't work :( I was just wondering if u knew a way to do this? thanks!

Making the texture background white and then using the multiply blend mode should do the trick

Great tutorial :) Do you know how can text be made to look as printed effect on the paper? Will the same filters do the job?
Man...that fire intro song
If I were to make the image larger after the fact, would it affect the resolution?
I followed this tutorial, but there doesn't seem to be any change to my shape. When I pull up the filter layer, I see the texture applied, but not in my normal artboard window. Any suggestions?

My Ps cs6 don't have tools to drop layer into text like you did, do you have another way to do like this? Thank you

Hey, cool tutorial! I'm hoping you can help me understand why my filters aren't applying. I've followed everything to a T and see my filter gallery icons under the smart filter icon but no effect is showing. Thanks in advance.
It's definitely in RGB too and I'm using PS cc.

Not sure what i'm doing wrong, but when I apply them I cannot see the changes made to the image. I'm able to see the filters in the filter gallery
how do I change the color of the "relief" texture? For example, the paper texture color is greyish but I want the texture to look red.
Hi Spencer, I was browsing through all the works of both artists' from the description, but couldn't find the intro song. Can you please help me out?

Which format to save this? And thank you!
+Recommendations any format you’d like! I generally would save out as a jpeg
Thanks handsome
Will this still work when Im using CS6? Seems like I cant find the "Photo Callery" option in the Filters tab.
Totally will, look for filter gallery, it might be greyed out if you’re not in RGB color mode.
Will do! Thank you so much for the reply.
Of course!
You need to be in 8-bit mode. To go into 8-bit you simply press Image->Mode->select 8bit
can this be done in illustrator??
I don't have the filter gallery option, a little help pls!
didnt know Harry Kane does Graphic Design, too!
Could you possibly post a white photo with the sandstone texture on it? T-T I can't afford Photoshop right now
Use gimp
im trying to do it but when i want to go on filter gallery the button is gray like i cant do it
