This is the best review of this product on youtube.
+Ivor Lander Agree ...
I agree!!!!
I have a Live Harmony. Essentially the same machine.Great review. Thank You.
Thank you for this video, some of these videos I have seen do not show the potential of this pedal well.
The best review. Thanks...from Perú.
I like it, but having built-in room mics with no aux input seems like it would make it hard to use in a studio, wouldn't it? Is there a similar processor with an aux input? I've got a VL Play Electric, which has nice sounds, but the reverb has a little latency that drives me nuts...
how do u ajust the volume on the effect, i set megaphone and its quiet how do i up the volume ?
Great vocals
Good review , not just another infommercial.
Does this have user banks for storage, or do you have to save/replace factory settings?
I hope it has dedicated user banks or bank.
It's a long long time I haven't put out it from its box, but as far as I remember it has half of its presets duplicated and programmable by the user.
does anyone tried the Vocalist Harmony? guys at GI please do a review with the Vocalist Harmony
does it analyse the chords the built in mic picks up when you use the harmony for vocal back ups? or you have to input the key of your song? thank you!
It analyzes from the guitar chords
if it does have phantom power how do I turn it on?
All in all a good multi fx.Mine has a test check card that shows everything is ok, but it sounds to me like the feedback destroyer works so and so... More, the power supplier plug is a little flimsy....
Is there only one level of harmony available?
Trying to figure out which one would be better for natural sounding harmonies. Vocalist Live or Vocalist Harmony. Also does anyone know the differences between these two types? Thanks
From looking at it, the Vocalist Harmony has two harmony voices, each under their own button and settings.
Hello, I finally could get my hand on this device, but sometimes I use the live adapt and when I have a non diatonic chord sometimes the harmonies are in a weird scale, like a harmonic minor with augmented shit, does anyone know if that can be fixed? (I was actually tring to play First Circle by Pat Metheny). If you play in one key, it works wonders though.
Hi, and how do you switch on off the vocalist ..
Does this pedal have phantom power?
j'aimerais savoir si on peut avoir de l'aide pour savoir ce servir de ce vocalist mais en FRANCAIS .Merci
You sold me on it!
I got one
what can you say about this pedal? the user interface, the quality of effects? is it usable on live performances? feedback issues?
I haven't used it yet, I am waiting for another mic cable to come in the mail. But I have seen some videos with some people doing some cool stuff with it. I am going to use it in my studio for recording
it is made for live performances and has a sound check feature
great, you should make a video review
I finally tried out my Vocalist and I really like it. It makes singing a pleasure, I have definitely found some vocal settings that I will use from now on. And there are so many choices you get tired of going through them. Plus, you can customize them. It does a lot more then just add vocal effects, but that is mainly what I bought it for. I may experiment with the other features like the looper one day, but for now I have want I want.
Negatives:
Then only negative I can say about it is that the power cord can come out pretty easily. I would be cautious with it during a live performance. If you move around the stage a lot you might unplug it. And the other thing is that there is a setting under systems called 9V or something like that. If you have this setting turned off, then you will only get sound for a minute and then nothing. I thought my Vocalist was broken at first, until I figured it out.
Oh and one more thing: Practically no instructions :(
Verdict:
I would definitely advise purchasing this processor. I paid $219 for mine and it was well worth it.
So, this or boss ve-20?
This
+BluNoseReindeer took to long to answer... I already sold my ve-20 and bought this :P happy as hell
+J11 had the ve-20 and sold it as well. Too many features made it overly complicated. I want plug and play easy. How are you liking this unit?
Is this vocalist discontinued? Does anyone know?
you can get it at amazon robert
Robert György It is going on Digitech's discontinued list. I called them yesterday to see. I have a used one I'm buying for $100.
Joe Mcnamee I know. a friend has one used in great condition. $100
Year old comment I'll answer anyway. I just ordered one new from eBay. Dude has like 20 of them new. B stocks. Priced at 159.99 with free shipping and comes with the power adapter. B stock never bothers me. I can handle a few scuffs of the case if the insides are still proper.
I have one...just bought it on november 2017
...'xcuse me...where is tap tempo?
Armands Varslavāns I think it has a on board mic and a beat detector
why do ppl talk so much instead of showing the equipment
