correction: the reason boat spam was op was because shift clicking boats in the crafting table used to make stacks of boats which could then be dropped into singular boats, allowing each boat stack to = 64 inventory slots filled, this was patched and now you can't shift click stacks of boats/soups/other unstackable items in vanilla minecraft, just watch Zylenox's eating a lifetime of soup videos to see what I mean

I remember after the item filter was implemented, they just used sweet axes because they have a uncommon rarity which would bypass most peoples filters

idk if people know about this yet but just saying the golem hat ability can still accomplish what boats used to do to hopper systems if you're patient enough, it drops an iron bar on to the ground (not your inventory) when you shift with a 5 second cooldown
Actually, you were able to place boats using a bug a few players a while back discovered. I was shared this and I found they could be used in water, make nulls, and break certain blocks in the hub

Actually you used to be able to stack boats in your inventory by shift clicking them out of the crafting table, however when you drop them they will unstack, making boat spam more effective
Actually, you could place boats in the hub and on islands using a bug. If people above 1.9 tried to enter them they would a), Crash, or b) suffocate in the ground with no way of escaping, even with an aote. Boats count as entities and back in the day I crashed a server with my guild by spamming hundreds of boats in the hub. It was amazing. I was the person who told tubbo on stream with about 5k live viewers. So basically you search for 3 crafting tables next to each other, not in a straight line. And you could place them if you had the perfect reach.

Hey IGBLON, i used to be an hub boat spammer and i don't know if it still works, or for how long it worked, but you could stack boats by shift-click it when crafting a bunch of them, you could also get negative amounts of boats in your inventory by doing some weird shit clicking it a bunch of times on each other lol
i used to use this illegal stacking method to fill my inv with boats and drop it on people at the bazaar/ah during peak times.

Everytime I went to a mega lobby my inventory was filled with boats sometimes with rookie axes so I couldn't drop them as easily, It was a very annoying time.

A few days ago, I saw some boats placed in the hub.
I knew a glitch where you could stack boats, so I got about 9 stacks of boats and dropped them. Nobody was happy except me
