Haha. Freaking love the 96s. I treat mine like absolute royalty. Regular cleans, rebuilds etc. They'll run forever if you treat them right. Keep mine super clean and well adjusted. Noticed the 10 pin holder dropped the spare a little early 😅 reminds me of what my lane 5 was doing 😂
I did notice the 10 pin, it made quite a sound haha Unfortunately they just got rid of their gs96 and replaced them with stringpin :( They were selling them for $700 a piece
@@PinDominator that's really sad honestly, those pinsetters run so reliably when thoroughly cared for. We bought and shipped some parts from them though. Saw Plainfields ad on a Facebook bowl mechanic page. Bought a few tables and a bunch of the pin holders, so it's all going to a good home ☺
@nicholasevans4245 that's good to hear! Yeah it's a shame they are replacing them, but I'm glad they're not all going to the scrap. I'm glad I was able to take home one of their rakeboards :)
@@PinDominator Oh thats so cool - saw that in one of your video intros! super nice! Yeah, we do need some parts at my center here so, where cost effective, we took what we could and would need. Going to a very grateful and happy old bowling center. Mate, if i could, i would've happily taken all the pinsetters knowing me 😂
Woooo! this video was amazing to watch, especially with the behind the lanes tour! next time I go i’ll have to see if I can get a tour behind as well. This place is very nice and I would definitely go back again and again. Great bowling and amazing video!
Thanks! This is definitely one of my favorite GS pinsetter houses! If you get the opportunity to ask, it's definitely worth seeing these machines in action!
I never bowled on the Brunswick GS -96 it's similar to the GSX is it? and I never seen Score king pins before. Awesome video. How's the mini bowling pinsetter? Rock on
Very similar to the GS-X. It's differences are noticeable upon closer inspection of the mechanical components of the setting table. Pin carry is pretty much them same. I would say it is slightly easier to pop 10 pins out however :)
It runs just like a GSX but the difference it had a different Setting Table, it had the old style sweep and it uses the old Universal Electronic system which you see here at 3:04. Its basically an upgraded GS-92 Pinsetter and it uses the exact same parts of a GS-98.
@@SugarbugsBowlingVideos I've never bowled on GS-96's but I've bowled on GS-92's. I can tell the difference between both machines because at 4:37, a GS-96 would pre load pins in the Setting Table like that while the GS-92 doesn't do that, it only drops all 10 Pins in the Setting Table after the 2nd Ball detection.

Yes ! I've been waiting for this to come ! Listening to those sweeps is so nostalgia
Glad you enjoyed! More to come since I want to try my Phaze II on their lanes!
Epic! I Love the Gs96 pinsetters
Are those LED panels for the masking? Those look really nice!

I'm very surprised the GS 90 is compatible with the game Horse and my shot where you can pick any pin... being very old compared to the GSX
I was surprised too. They managed to get these pinsetters to work with their newer scoring systems. :)
Speaking of that, at 6:58 the Table jerks a bit while its setting up the 10 Pin
