We have finally progressed far enough to start taking on some high profit bosses, and eventually raids. Trader Steve has come a long way and today we are going to kill our first major boss.
Its also time to start a new major longterm goal. We are setting our sights on a powerful region that will unlock the 3 most profitable money makers in oldschool runescape. We are also quickly approaching our 100 item, which means we are truly out of the early game, and moved on to more and more exensive items.

Rules:
-This is a main account that has access to the grand exchange.
-Money can be earned in any way, but no trading or transferring money over to Steve.
-Once a unique rare item from the list has been purchased a new adjacent chunk can be chosen. (I will allow an exceptions to use natural forms of transport such as ships, boats, canoes, minecarts etc
-To unlock new chunks each new item must be unique and not a repeat.

To finish floor 5 in the proper time, you just have to be really selective about what chests you open. I like to set benchmarks for myself. Like, "okay, if I get past this obstacle by with X:XX time left, then I'll loot this chest, if not, then I'll skip it to make-up on my time", cause ultimately, grand hallowed coffin is the most important one

@@seco4752 Thank you. I saw the level of that boss and decided I should probably wait a bit. My combat level is only 90 and my gear isn't great. Still, there's so much to do and new experiences around every corner. It will be there later as well.
@@SilverionXit took me 9 tries to do the boss, not because it was difficult but i just couldn’t get good rng, best of luck

Trader Steve is my favourite on going series. Have been following since the start, and I hope to see the day of him getting his hands on the quest cape...but maybe more adventures arise after his goal is completed:)

Small correction: you made a typo when unlocking the bedabin camp. It is "bedabin" and not "bebadin". Love the series, been watching since the beginning!

I may be wrong but I think chunk #13616 is used to catch the phoenix feather
Also the agility pyramid would probably be the better of the two other chunks to unlock but that's just what I'd do
Agility Pyramid allows consistent money from Pyramid Plunder so not a dead chunk completely.
I think agility pyramid is required for a diary. Not sure tho.

Sophanheim must be what the city was called when the Fremenniks occupied it during the early 5th age.
Waterfall chunk you can get from gnome stronghold agility shortcut, i think saves 1 chunk If it matters, but you also need The other one for shadow dungeon location dt1

This series is sooo enjoyable
2:35 In RS3 we have something called the totem of intimidation that allows you to bypass the required kc for the 4 main GWD1 bosses. This totem is earned through skilling activities and relies on some rng (and 90 slayer). Nex has a method too but that requires a full set of ancient ceremonial gear, a frozen key and 10m gp. (Plz don't @ me about the mtx we know it's an issue there's not much we can do about it), granted GWD1 isn't very hard in RS3.

I think you might need the slayer tower for dessert treasure two depending on rng since you need the Miniquest about Zaros.
seeing a new episode made my entire night.
One of my first times doing nightmare with boys I brought super energys instead of sanfew lol. Always making silly mistakes, I thought the strength potions was great lol. Also thank you for turning down the volume of the unlock sound effect lol

Love it. I do have to wonder if it'd be more worthwhile to unlock the slayer tower for Gargoyles and Nechryaels later since they're pretty profitable, rather than having to burn a block.

You can get ecumenical keys from nex, definitely an option!
Could you not technically just buy the 2 desert chunks needed, and cut the corner? since osrs movement can be diagonal, you can technically move from 1 chunk to the other without ever stepping foot in an unbought chunk
Its a REALLY good time for this series, basically ALL mid level items have crashes to the floor because of Jagex flooding the economy with gp and their massive bot farms they are running again.
The curse of the empty lord miniquest will require you to go to the wilderness and could also take you to the slayer tower

I'm confused why you don't just unlock the slayer tower chunk rather than block gargoyles. Surely slayer could make you some good money and you could do some different content (e.g. gargoyle boss)?

To speed up KC just attack the mobs that are fighting each other that are already half damaged

You mentioned sepulcher being slow xp rates, it's actually the best in the game so I'm not sure why you said that. If you don't loot chests on the way you get very good xp rates. Even if you only loot the last 3 floors it's still great XP

Doesn't magic carpet travel count as an in game transportation that is not a teleport? Similar to canoeing or balloons?
I may have forgotten the rules but could you not have unlocked the magic carpet location to skip the dead chunk like you did with the canoe?

The other key difference is that there's no fuckin reason to have str pots in your bank, throw that shit out.
Is the pyramid chunk not needed for the desert diary?
