For me, Three Days Grace music, their lyrics, adam’s voice connect with me on so many levels I will forever love this band.
But everyone is different, music affects everyone in their own way, some stuff is not for everyone.
It’s true like I like Metallica but they are not my favourite band along with three days grace like the lyrics are pretty relatable but I am now I am into heavier stuff

I feel like a lot of the deeper meanings in the songs kind of passed by you. Your focus just wandered and it didn't really seem like you caught a lot of the meanings hidden within. But I guess that's a good thing you missed and can't relate to them, because both songs are talking about deep emotional and psychological trauma. The first being relationships and abuse, the second being the unwelcome touch of adults and the total blind ignorance of those meant to protect us.

Never too late is about suicide 😭 many of my friends lost that battle and I almost did but this song connects because of the meaning not cuz of the beat that you like. There is much more to music than that.

Nothing against you or anything, but is it a good idea to surround yourself with people that all went through the same horrifying experience? Isn't that amplifying the negative feelings? Especially when many of your friends lost that battle? I mean it's too late now (Pun not intended), but back when it might've been a good idea to get your head out of the situation instead of more into it. I'm saying this, considering you almost lost the battle as well.

Adam Gontier (lead singer and song writer) came out in an interview and said Never To Late was his favorite song he had ever written.
Never too late is a very emotional song for me cause i can relate so much. So i am kind of dissapointed by your reaction, but i am also happy that this isnt something (i guess?) you can relate to.

I kind agree with you when it comes to I Hate Everything About. I always felt that Three Days Grace have way better songs, at least for my taste. Never Too Late is my favourite of them by far. It will definitely grow in you if you give it a few more listens, although I personally fell in love with it instantly. You could try Someone Who Cares, Life Starts Now, Animal I Have Become, Pain and Riot. Any of these I feel like you could possibly like. But even if you don't that's fine. That is the beauty in music. At least you are being honest and don't try every time to act like you like everything you listen.

I mean it was on there like 1st few albums so I doubt they had expected to be so popular at that time, I think the main reason why its so boring for others is because they don't understand the meaning. But who knows everyone has opinions.
A shame that Three Days Grace did not really suit your taste but I'm glad that you checked them out, gotta really appreciate your honesty! Since people are suggesting Bad Omens in the comments I'll do the same lol A double reaction with Dethrone as the first song and Limits as the last one would be really interesting(and hella funny haha) since the songs are completely diferent from each other in all aspects.

Not every song is the song someone needs to hear at a particular time or point in their life. You’ll likely find yourself singing one of the songs in a few months and wanting to hear them again, then falling in love with them.
I Hate Everything About You was off their debut album in 2003. Never Too Late was was on the following album “One X” (best album IMO) in 2006. The lead singer Adam in these two songs has since left the band, but they replaced him and Three Days Grace continues to make music. I recommend “Home”, “Just Like You”, “Pain”, “Animal I Have Become”, “Riot”, “Get Out Alive”, “Time Of Dying”, and “Break” if you decide you want to listen to more of these guys!

Nice reaction, always honest. Just for context, these songs are about 20 years old now, and the band basically set the tone for alternative/grunge rock music back in the day. Good memories!
I suggest you check out the band Nothing More. A bit heavier, really deep songs, and they usually are pretty colorful (livelier then these two songs). Also, they're not screamo, but the main singer died have a range (you'll understand if you listen). But, they're less poppy and electronic, which I think is more your style.

As someone who adores these songs, I know and understand that not everyone would love them like I do and that's okay.

Honestly like, these songs came out when I was in high school and were just like perfect for teenage angsty emo kids, and now it's like a massive nostalgia thing for people. If you didn't grow up with them I can understand not having that same kinda love for it. I would try Breaking Benjamin though! Diary of Jane is a must
To get into Rock or Metal music you should listen to Skillet or Papa Roach first. These two bands got my sisters into heavy music :)
I would recommend Monster and Hero from Skillet and Last Resort and Born for Greatness from Papa Roach
Skillet was the first one for me. Got into skillet a few years before I even got into other bands. They were definitely the gateway to rock and eventually metal for me. I love skillet.
His new band Saint Asonia is pretty amazing. I’ve always really loved his voice, seen Three Days Grace live a few times and they were amazing.

Remember UA-cam was not a thing before 2007 so Music released before that time may have been uploaded through the first 4-5years of UA-cam 😉 as its was very rare that they had official Music channels on UA-cam back then

It's nice to see an honest reaction for once! I'm really tired of other reactors on here just "loving" every song they hear no matter what. Nobody loves every song they hear. I absolutely live and breathe music and I don't love near every song I hear! Thanks for your honesty it was refreshing.

People shouldn't be disappointed at your reaction, this just means you're being sincere and honest. You shouldn't apologize for not liking it. It's the reason I watch you. A lot of reaction channels pretend to love every song in their reactions, and you start to get the feeling that it isn't all sincere. We need people that dislike songs for us to know their channel is legit. Keep doing what you're doing.

I remember listening to “I hate everything about you” after a very brutal breakup with a very toxic ex, I remember starting the song, then waking up, my room was completely trashed, my full length mirror was smashed to bits and my hand was bleeding with shards of mirror glass in it, I guess the song hit some nerves

The song 'I hate everything about you" came out 2003 according to Deezer. I remember this, because I was listening to it on a portable Mp3 player with my headphones back that year.
The original vocalist for three days grace is now the vocalist for Saint Asonia. Try "The Hunted" or "Blind" if you want something different with his voice.

i understand the criticism. Which is probably why three days grace didnt maintain their popularity as well as a lot of other music acts. We were all middle schoolers when these song were big. They are great tunes but they are very consistent throughout where the music you have been shown is typically more dynamic. Not bad, just different.
Three Days Grace hits different for me. I don't expect everyone to love them but its just a childhood thing haha. These are the songs I listened to on the way to school back in middle school so it hits on memories from back then.
Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Shinedown and Nickelback definitely got me through some rough times when I was younger.
Again I love the fact that she doesn’t pretend to love everything like I hate everything about you is one of my favorite songs of all time but the fact that you were true to yourself and us with your opinion of it is outstanding

I was never real into TDG, but Adam’s use of vocal distortion was so distinct and iconic

One-X (album with Never Too Late) was a much better album than the self-titled album, with Hate Everything about you. I still go back and listen to One-X quite a bit. Especially Get Out Alive. One-X was Three Day Grace's best effort to date.
Incase you do more Three Days Grace in the future, they did change singers in 2013 or so. The guy singing in these two songs and much of older Three Days Grace is Adam Gontier. Newer stuff is sung by Matt Walst.
Anybody correct me if I'm wrong. It's kinda confusing. I've tried following the whole My Darkest Days, There Days Grace, Saint Asonia, Never Say Die/Deadset Society thing.
Last I knew, Matt was the lead for My Darkest Days and Adam was Three Days Grace until he stepped down. Matt took his place, My Darkest Days got a new singer (I think his name was Reid). Adam a few years ago formed Saint Asonia, My Darkest Days kinda died and Reid went and formed Never Say Die/Deadset Society. It's kinda a cluster fuck.

Try “Last to Know” arguably the best song they made, it’s underrated song cause it was never put into a video as it’s the last song before the original singer left the band.

Yea these songs came out in the early 2000's. Music video wasn't uploaded till about 2010/2011. Adam Gontier, the singer, is no longer with the band and hasn't been for a while now

Don't worry about being hated, it's inevitable if your genuinely you. It's like I told my niehbor the other day ..."love is just hate waiting to happen." I know that's a pretty pessimistic view but in terms of my experiences in relationships it's a sadly relative statement and usually true. Its totally different with my family tho, I've been blessed with an awesome close family that has continually restored my faith in authentic love.I just tend to be blind and lacking any discernment when in romantic relationships it seems lol. "I Hate Everything About You" came out 2003. "Never Too Late" came out 2006. Please keep in mind that UA-cam did not exist until 2005 and all the music of the world (old and new) is not obligated to be uploaded on it right on time.
