I have this type natural hair. It looks thicker than what it actually is. But when straightened…it’s such a disappointment. Lol! It’s called the ‘puff effect’.😂
It’s called fine natural hair, it sucks. I have it too. I sometimes have to ask for only one pass with the flat iron when I straighten my hair at the salon to get some volume 😢
@@smileypc44 I have the same hair texture, very very fine. I only flat iron on special occasion because Even with one pass and heat protectant I still get some heat damage. I won't dare relax it because it's so fragile and I'm afraid it will straight up fall out during the relaxing process. lol
100% plus you have to avoid the rain, humidity, probably never swim or want to work out, you’ll constantly be processing new growth and exposing yourself to a literal carcinogen That’s why I just flat iron my natural hair when I need a break
I got emotional when you were saying you were going to relax your hair… you have beautiful long hair ❤ The bathroom part was ok lighting is good, not bad echo 😊
I was just as tired honestly, didn’t have time to take care of my natural hair and relaxing it has definitely helped. Keep me updated on how you get on x
As long as people are aware of the consequences of these chemicals. I honestly blame videos about mixing up stuff in the kitchen for hair growth and diy shampoo and conditioner, these obviously take too long to make and that’s a contributing factor to why natural hair routines are taking too long and discouraging women to resort to these hair straightening chemicals. I never fell for it, because these DIY hair product routines never made sense to me--there’s so many products in stores already made and ready to be purchased instead. We don’t live in the Stone Age where we need to make everything at home. I have a busy life too that’s why I band my hair and wrap my ends in yarn and put on my hijab. Straight hair that is not our natural texture is definitely not easier to maintain especially when it ends up on the floor overtime due to hormone changes as we age. I tell black women all the time if you are tired of dealing with your natural hair just African thread it and tie in a bun and leave it there so you can focus on other aspects of your life. African threading can be left in the hair up to 4 months that’s plenty of time to solve your life and plan a hair reset. The upside to that is your hair is still growing and you will be able to see your length. 😂 🤙🏽
I've never used a DIY hair product in my 7-8 years of being natural. Being natural is too time consuming, frustrating (tangles, knots) and the hairstyles are just not as cute as they were before. Many of us have had straight hair nearly all of our lives and loved the convenience that came with it. We want to get back to our wraps and pixie cuts too 🤷🏽♀️
They have lawsuits out now about us relaxing our hair now 👀 but people still relax their hair ??? I’m confused as a black woman. But great video though. I like the quality of it🎉🤞🏿💕
People aren’t informed on what suit actually entails (as in what sicknesses or side effects are being experienced) so you can’t be confused about women trying to make life easier for themselves when you can’t even tell them what problems it causes.
I was natural for 4 years transitioned for 1 year I thought I would take better care of it this time around relaxing it but I ended up with breakage and now I’m going back natural 🙄 I hate I permed it but ❤️🫶🏽 Good luck on your journey it’s nice either way
Even though I’m never relaxing my natural hair I still love watching these videos because the transformations are amazing and I enjoy them!❤
Aww thank you so for watching
i swear on my soul. my boyfriend ask me why i like watching the videos if im going to stay natural.
It looks so much more thicker, longer, and healthier in it's natural state.

It was healthy and thick but it was just too much and I didn’t have time to take care of it

It’s processed hair, of course it’s thinner than natural but it’s still healthy looking and long. Why the need to insult?
So many people are transitioning from natural to relaxed, am not complaining 😍
People are TIRED lol.
@@tias.6675what makes natural hair so hard?

Just relaxed mine as well..I was getting frustrated with natural hair
You made it too bone straight!,it will be proned to breakage
I did 😩but so far it’s going well, it has more volume not as flat hopefully it stays that way
@@selmaslifestyle yes it will, after each relaxer it will be flat for a few days
Why don’t you wet set your hair and sit under a dryer , your permed hair will look and feel better
I will have to try this, Thank you for suggesting

So what it’s a lawsuit for almost everything. No one cares.
