For those who don't know the difference between velocity and speed. Velocity is a vector quantity which means it has a magnitude and direction while speed is a scalar quantity with only a magnitude.
I watched this roughly a month prior to my first Physics class, and I'm glad I did, I had a basic grasp of the concept and I didn't seem as foolish as those frantically taking in information. You have a very simplistic teaching style, which I love and your voice is very articulate. Thank you.
*N00Belocity Stfu your probably a fat 30 year man in a mid life crisis who doesnt even know half of what physics is. And if you say "i have 13 PHDs in physics" I DONT FUCKING CARE... MATTER A FACT... NO ONE DOES.*

this is my first video watching him and omg what a sweetie!! ☺☺💕💕 just so pure, hes a really effective communicator, just a really kind patient understanding teacher, like I'm so glad he decided to stay out of the educational system, and just teach freely, because hes helping more people by letting them choose to listen to him as he freely just teaches. like wow society perpetuates the misconception that learning is hard or bad but everyone who's here chose to be here, with the simple motive to learn and expand our minds!!! how pure are we??? omg I love us lol

You know I've been trying to find out why your physic teaching videos are better than almost everyone else on UA-cam for me and I've come to a conclusion that the black board actually makes me understand better+ you're a really good teacher.
I like this. Well structured short videos that break up and make topics about physics easy to understand. And I’m glad you know what your talking about too
Greatly appreciate the tutorial. My niece and nephews (homeschooled) will be using this as their introduction to physics. Your efforts are definitely not in vain.
I'm about to start my physics class in less then a month, my 2nd to last semester in college. Wish me luck, I repeated basic algebra class 3 times till I passed. 😭😭😭😭
Very nice starting tutorial. I have always had a love for sciences (mainly because of my love for science fiction) and things like this are great practice for people looking to gain a greater understanding of the subject. Thanks for giving some extra-curricular study for the nerds out here.
Michael Walterich that's a good sign! What field are you thinking? Astro, mechanical, quantum, quantum mechanical, thermodynamics, dark matter, string theory, dark energy, quantum loop gravity?
weykmanfr actually love is just a chemical that makes animals want to fornicate however because we have evolved it just releases endorphins and other chemicals that we love, it numbs pain receptors etc. I'm a physicist
This guy thought me how to programme last year, now I find he teaches pysics aswell? Thank god youtube and share this guys genius .. I love the internet :)
Technically, d is displacement. It is almost the same as distance, however it takes into effect the direction of movement also. Eg. From here to there might be 100m. so if you were to go from here to there to here again, you've moved a distance of 200m. But your displacement is 0m since you're in the same point that you started in. Displacement is used more than distance, since that allows us to use the SUVAT equations in Mathematic Mechanics and Physics.
