I don’t carry spare tubes or patches. You may be out somewhere where it is very difficult to remove the wheel and tire. I carry a compressor, a valve tool and tire goo. I’ve never had to use it but I travel in some pretty remote areas and it gives me piece of mind.

Yeh I thought about running goo but then you have the mess of the goo to deal with when you do actually change out the tube / tyre etc.

@@OliReu Just throw the tube out, no mess. My mountain bike is tubeless and it has goo inside, yes it’s messy, if you have to change the tire.

Just a heads up, I have the same bike and put the 12 volt accessory on the right and then realized that the bark busters get in the way of any cables that come out of there. the charging port needs to be flush mount and the charging cables need to have have a 90 degree right angle pointing the cable downward or the bark busters are going to rip out the cables.

Ah thanks for tip I’ll do a check - will suss another location - maybe even an out of the way hidden one as really once the cable is plugged in I won’t be removing it really. Phone quad lock charger will be hard wired direct to battery - maybe I do same with Garmin gpsmap 66i which means I don’t really even need to install accessory usb - will see

Checked today. Has around 3-5cm space or more so enough room - possibly have different Barkbusters ? Mine are the 2022 klr650 specific which are shaped bit diff to standard. I’m posting a video soon about installing a Garmin - within that I show the usb gap.

@@OliReu interesting 🤔. Mine are the klr specific bark busters as well. Maybe it has something to do with my bars , I also have the pro taper atv high. I actually watch Curtis (onthebackwheel) too and have many of the same parts on my bike. Regardless I look forward to seeing your video.

Yeh odd - I have the bars pitched at the exact angle so on full lock either way you have around 8-10mm from bark buster touching fairing or touching tank - orig I had it so it was too close to tank maybe 2-3mm from hitting tank - they don’t create them to give much tolerance. But around usb there is a good 2 inches space at all times so never would foul cords I don’t think

So far so good - though I’m looking at a new tank bag soon and likely keep it in too clear pocket / run power to bag.

I’m using the quadlock mount with anti vibration and wireless charging. No issues, been 2 years so far, I use iPhone and no camera problems or anything.
