Fantastic! 1) Does this replace the D2 or is it in addition to the product line? This one seems to directly replace the D2 industrial but with all features. 2) Without having the D3's here to measure t0.1 time against my D2's it's been challenging to find a direct comparison between the two in terms of comparable Ws and t0.1 time freeze mode to see if the D3 is faster than the D2.
What I know is that the D2 1000Ws is discontinued. Not sure about the industrial. The D3 is faster but I don't know how much faster unfortunately.

If i am not mistaken ... The t-01 speed is related to the flash power right ? The lower the power the faster the t-01 ?
Yes, I think you're correct.
(The T.1 time is the best measurement of the flash’s ability to freeze a subject, but the higher the power that you use, the slower the flash duration, so the slower that T.1 time. The lower the power setting on your flash, the faster the T1 time, i.e. the faster the flash duration.)
Yeesh 4000 for one head, I hope my rental center starts carrying these!
