This was from my favourite era of sneakers, when Nike basketball was hyped too 🔥 it was pretty awesome how Nike basketball was fashionable too, not just Air Jordans. Recently stocked up on a couple KB8s for the nostalgia 😎

Love revisiting older models I couldn't afford or wasn't that into because they were too performance driven. Now i wear them casually because I'm old 😂

Yea they were crazy expensive but from what I remember these sat and went on clearance for pretty good price. Super slept on shoe.
Just ordered these on EBay, the exact pair and colorway, for my upcoming rec basketball season. I had been hooping in the regular Lebron 10, I have two pairs from 2013 and they’ve both held up amazingly. Traction still good, upper of course good, and cushion, just as amazing as the day I first laced them. I have the new purple Lebron 21s, new jordan 38s, but ever since I tore my acl and had surgery, no shoe had ever allowed me to play as long and without pain as the Lebron 10 with that full length unlocked max zoom! So excited to get the elite version for my rec maybe as my “game shoe” lol. Funny you re reviewed these and I stumbled across after I ordered them. Pleeease do more of these! Love the old videos (and I watched a lot of them when they first came out), but this is just incredibly fun for those of us who’ve been around here for years.

The Lebron X elite is a shoe I saw online in the morning and liked so much I went to the store and bought that day. My only regret is that I liked some of the colorways that launched later even more. I’d love to see more throwback reviews like this since it was a time when I played a lot of ball and bought a lot of shoes.
The 9s, 10s, and 11s are my favorite from the Lebron series. Not just for the elites but also it’s around the time where they brought in the “What the” series. Memories

So glad that you still love and give shout outs the Zoom Soldier 3 which is one of my favorite shoes of all time! Not enough people know how awesome of a basketball shoe that was. I literally rocked mine on court until the zoom bubbles popped and would definitely buy a couple of pairs if Nike ever re-released them which is something I would never dream of doing with any other shoe.
I love these. I never had the elite version, but I still have a pair of the dunkman colorway, and I think they look as good today as when they were designed. I would love to see you go through issues of the past! It’s fun to revisit, it’s also fun to talk about how things have changed.

The Lebron 10 model is the one that got me into Sneakers, and got me into weartesters !! So it will always be one of my favourite. I don't like the top down view but that's it. I can't wait for these to be retroed. I played volleyball in these few month ago and they are still very much playable (except for the traction on dusty court).

I've always loved this model, I had three colorways of the Lebron X Elite, sold them, but kept my favorite, the Lebron X EXT Cork. Still a fun shoe to break out and wear! Thanks for a great trip down memory lane!

I had the Aqua Teal ones.
And the exact ones you have in the Video Nightwing! I loved the Full Length Zoom Airmax. Along with the Carbon Fiber Support Pieces. I have a bad left ankle. The Ankle Support was fantastic! Excellent Re-Review!
Still have mine but in the teal colorway!! This era of Nike hoop shoes was my favorite. The carbon fiber digs the side of my ankle but the cushion is just *chefs kiss* 💚

My favorite ball shoes back then was Kobe V but i fell in love with this Xs. The transition from heel to toe crazy good even thought it looked like snow boots. I would love to try it again if they retro them again...

Awesome video! Wow it’s been 10 years I always wanted the lebron 10 elite the white, black and gold ones. Haven’t been able to get them but if they re-release I’ll get them for sure. Also would be nice if you could re-review the melo m10
Loved revisiting the older model of shoes... Simply superb
Great review always! I stopped rotating my hoop shoes for awhile when I broke these in. The carbon fiber hurt a little bit on the sides ta first, but once I broke those in, ohhh these are nice. One of the best impact protection/court feel combos of all time with full length zoom max? Ridiculous. They really don't make them like they used to with full cushion haha. (Also believe this is truly one of the few hoop shoes that are arguably too supportive.)
Aside from that, hoping for a Bron 6 retro, but after hooping in the X Elites, I finally have a shoe that's taken the new top spot/only shoe I really hoop with: The Li-Ning Liren (Blade) 3. I know WOW has been doing it's thing, but so has Li-Ning's hoop line as a whole. Hard to argue against full length Boom.
I have always wanted to cop this color way. I got the prism pair and I loved it. So I can’t wait to grab em and hoop. Thanks for all the dope shit y’all do!

Great seeing some outdoors court moves, even it was claimed, that "no more playing". 🙂🙃 Please, keep it rolling with such reviews, as performance design evolution is much more interesting than "just yet another new colorway for Jordan 1s". Who knows, may be Nike would do a retro release on some of those models, and then you'll be at the edge with performance overview already in place 😉 Thanks for all your work and best of recovery to those hooping hips!

Yeah still got my black and metalic gold Elite Bron 9s. I loved the laces with the stitching to reinforce them and keep them from stretching

The 10s still have one of the sickest cushion setups even. The full length air zoom unit was just dope asf and comfortable as well. They need to retro these

So happy you did this. I really wish and hope Nike retros the elite series. I loved the 9s and 10s. The use of all the carbon fiber was just so cool to me. Yes it was pricey, but the south beach 9s and taxi were coveted. I really want the championship 10s those are my all time grails.
One of my favorite shoes to hoop!! Just an amazing cushion feeling. I got 3 pairs of different colorways.
I had the low version of these and they were great. Hope they re release these in the future.
This was my favorite ball sneaker to play in EVER!! 👑 Once they were broken in - these sneakers felt like walking on mattresses. This shoe still is one of the best for impact protection! If you’re a heavier players then these are a must have. Absolute tanks outdoors too. All the impact protection & cushion of the LB 4 minus the weight (those were 🧱). You definitely have to swap the insole out for a thinner one to free up toe space and really experience the zoom underfoot (I swapped in the regular 10 insole). The breathability of this shoe is also a very underrated feature. Being from NY the Knicks colorway was my favorite followed by the one in the video. Thanks Chris for the walk down memory lane - many points & game winners were scored in these shoes😌.
Please revisit the Kobe 2 orca, 20.5.5, LB 4, Soldier 1. These were my All 🌟

I so wish I had a pair of these back in the day, I literally idolised them and never quite decided to spend the money, I got the 11s though and I still play I’m them today, absolute beasts and the armouposite panels are comfy AF

Man, I remembered going to my local mall when I was about 14 and there was the heat home colors, the pressures and this colorway all on the shelf. I wanted them all, love these lebrons. My absolute favorite lebron to date. I did a bunch of mowing lawns and cleaning the house to get enough money to buy the heat home color and the pressures. Eventully they got beat up. Dont have anymore but, love those kicks!

I have the hot lava 10s. The grey and orange ones. Super mad comfy! I never played in them, but for casual use it was awesome.

I remember that yo had the Superhero Blue colorway. I watched your video of the 2013 Elite series performance review to decide which Elite Nike Basketball shoe to cop. I wanted the Kd V but the LeBron X Elite had the best upgrades. I copped these in the blue colorway as well.
I also bought the KD 6 Elite series back then. And as far as I can remember, there’s an additional “theme”/colorways for KD. There’s Gold(?), Team and Hero (which I bought).
Maannn! Back in the late '00's and early '10's Nike basketball shoes were on a roll with Lebron, Kobe and KD kicks. I remember the "Elite Series" being so danm expensive tho!!
I remember having these and I started using them for outdoor basketball. Eventually I had to throw them away. I never left the court feeling sore wearing these.
