Nice to see an install like this. About 4 years ago, I leveled my ground, used top soil as filler, tamped, added sand and tamped. This was wrong. I never dug out an initial trench that has a diameter bigger that the pool and that is 6" or so below grade. It lasted less than 2 weeks. We had a horrible rain storm, the sand washed out, the liner ripped, sent retaining wall blocks 15' down the yard and it undercut my gravel base under my 10' x 20' shed, so now it needs leveled after I empty it. What a nightmare. If you look at the Bestway Video, They are simply assembling it on indoor/outdoor carpet on a movie set. How could I be so ignorant? I thought it was okay the way it was and I thought you only needed to dig the trench below grade for a steel wall permanent pool. A very hard lesson learned. Listen to this guy. Your family will be excited but you can't try to rush the project so they can use it. You have one shot at doing it right the first time and the extra time and labor make all the difference in the finished product. Thanks for such a great video.
You must be special 😁😂. Just kidding ! Actually I have no idea why you have 4 hoses. Contact the manufacturer and maybe they can give you a more detailed answer. Thanks for watching and please subscribe to my channel. I’d love to see pics of your pool setup… share some pics. Have a super summer😎
You had a air bubble in 1 of those hoses. You need to screw open the top of the filter and let it drain water till their is no air in the hoses. Otherwise you wont get to full potential of the filter pump (also upgrade the pump, cause the water replacement is to low for this tiny pump) Greetz😊
Hi 👋 thanks for the comment. Ja air in the lines reduces the efficiency of the pump for sure. I swapped out the little pump for a larger one. Check out the video😉 ua-cam.com/video/6w1KdFyBcbE/v-deo.html
Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner… I’ve had a very busy summer. The pool looks good and with regular maintenance I’ve had no problems yet. I hope to get another video out soon. 😅
Are you Canadian by chance because you called the yard the garden and you use kilograms instead of pounds just wondering it's still a very informative video I liked it.
Hey thanks! I love my backyard and yes I am a Canadian guy living in Europe. The pool is in the front garden. People from all over the world have responded to the video… 🇧🇪, 🇲🇽, 🇦🇷, 🇧🇷 , 🇺🇸, 🇸🇦, UAE 🇦🇪, 🇮🇳, 🇻🇳, 🇦🇺 and of course CANADA 🍁🇨🇦.
Depends on the size of your pool. Do you have the same size as me. I add approx two tablespoons of granulated chlorine every other evening after the pool is closed for the night. I may increase that if the weather is hotter
Hi Brittany 😃, thanks for watching … check the video again around the 12 minute mark there is info about the pump. The three parts you mentioned… one is for the drain. One is intake and one is output. The black nipples are like plugs or corks you won’t need them right away. Save them … I’m working on a new video now. Let me know if you need more info. 💪🏼
@@DriventoTravel thank you you’re a life saver! I saw that part of the video but just wasn’t sure about those pieces! So I have the pump put together and didn’t even open that bag! I need to figure out how to use the pump! The manuals sent with the pool and pump were so terrible! 🥴😂 thank you for responding!
Great question! The carpet worked well last summer and I left it outside all winter. It looks good so far and I’ll be putting the pool back in the next week or so.
Hey I’m happy it was helpful. I actually did use wooden pieces as feet under the legs. As you saw I put the green carpet down on the sand and that has really helped keep the sand flat and in place.
Hey 👋 Larry, I wouldn’t recommend the chlorine eggs for this specific pool because I am not at all familiar with them. If any other viewers can comment I’d love to hear what you have to add. I currently use a powder chlorine product so I can add more or less depending on what my specific pool requires.
Hey from St Catharines Ontario, CANADA, Eh :-) . Where were you from in Canada ? We got the 3.05 metres pool too, except ours has 2 intake holes/hoses that tee together before single hose connecting to the pump. We didn't go to such elaborate efforts to 'level' ours and its ok so far. We also got a terrific electric water heater via Amazon to raise the temperature, we're seniors and need warmer water to soak in. One big problem though, these pools/pumps do NOT have shutoff valves to facilitate cleaning and or replacing the pump filter/cartridge every two weeks as the crummy instruction pamphlet says to. Its now clogging up and reducing water flow and probably hard on the pump too.
Hey that’s great… Did you use the black plugs that go on the inside of the pool and then remove the hose Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.. sometimes life just gets really busy. I am from Barrie! It’s really nice to hear from you in Ontario
@@DriventoTravel I originally grew up in Etobicoke. Didn't have to remove the hoses, just loosened the clamps, pulled out the strainers, and pushed in the black plugs. Thanks for the reply, however delayed 🙂
Great video. Was helpfull for me to pick the right pool for our family. Just a fun sidenote. Didn't you connect the hoses on the wrong side of the pump? :) Looks like the hose from outlet B on the pool go in to the inlet A on the pump. Anyhow, just something I noticed. Greetings here from Denmark, and keep up with great videos.
Hi Thanks , Ja I filmed everything while I was doing it and only noticed afterwards that’s I switched the hoses. 🤣 I did not want to photograph the pump a second time so I left that part in the video. Have a great summer !!
Great video, just what i needed. I got same pool and was in dilemma wheather i should built a sandbox for pool or dig it in like you did. This is way more better 👍👍
Hey thanks for the positive words Adnan! Good luck with the install and I wonder what kinds of accessories have you bought ? Pool toys? Lights? Ladder? Sun umbrella? You’re welcome to post a pic when you want 🏝
Thanks for watching and commenting Edie! 😊. I’m working on a new video now and I thought of you specially… make sure you subscribe and ring the bell. New video will be out soon.
THE Best install video. Careful prep is the key to successful pool installation. Lot of hard work but worth it.
We agree!

Excellent footage of all phases of execution of this beautiful pool!
Great Video! Also, I saw the Toronto Maple Leafs banner at 14:36. God Bless you! Go Leafs Go!
Super Pool, nice family 💋👌
Thanks ☺️

Is the pump need to work all the time?
No only part of the time 😊
A great video! Definitely worth the time investment for the hours of family fun!!
Hey thanks Kathleen !
Thank you for your guide. This helped me alot!
I’m glad 😀.

3 summers and going strong 💪🏻

What did you put under the legs for support?
A small piece of wood 🪵 will easily do the trick
Nice video
Thanks

About 10feet wide and 3 feet deep.

I was planning on doing this great budget idea, my question is how well has the carpet held up would it last a couple years 👍
Great question! The carpet worked well last summer and I left it outside all winter. It looks good so far and I’ll be putting the pool back in the next week or so.
I noticed there’s a hole at the end of the leg on the side- does that have any function?
…been so busy this summer…
Hi! How did you connect your pump, just thru a regular extension cord and a normal socket? Great video btw, going to buy sandbox sand tomorrow 🙏🏼
Also, you don’t need any pieces of wood or anything underneath the legs? It’s enough with the sand?
Hey I’m happy it was helpful. I actually did use wooden pieces as feet under the legs. As you saw I put the green carpet down on the sand and that has really helped keep the sand flat and in place.
Did you add chlorine?
Yes, every couple days or so.
Can you put Chloe egg one tablets in this specific pool ?

How many bags of sand did you need for the 12ft pool
I used 10 bags in the video and I installed a 10ft diameter pool. 😃
Exelnt🙂
What is the size of the pool??
So the diameter of the pool is 3.05 metres which is 10ft and it’s about 2 1/2 feet deep or 76cm. That’s the interior dimension.
Thank you!!
You are so welcome ! I’m glad you found the video helpful. Your nice comment made my day ! Thanks !!
