It looks like the new shaft is just the thing for snorkeling ! So glad you’re back and I look forward to your videos !
Oh yea, it worked great! I need to go back to coin island with it and see what goodies are there. :D
I have been using the Anderson dive shaft on my Excalibur II for quite a few years now, this is all old news. However I came up wit my own lower carbon fiber shafts a short one and a long extension for using the machine in the dry as a standard stand up detector. The Anderson shaft has worked as intended for as long as I have had it in some very extreme deep dives. To be absolutely honest this rig is pretty OLD news in 2023. Most have moved on to newer detectors especially for beach hunting. Quite suprised to see a report just popping up on the Excalibur II.
I still keep my Excalibur II around as a fully engaged recreational lost item recovery diver I can take the Excalibur II to deeper depths than the Deus II. Excalibur II is also my goto machine when looking for lost electronics and cell phones. Those that have used and Excalibur II over a cell phone will know why as the Excalibur II provides a very distinct sound for electronics and just make it ideal for silty zero visibility dock drop cell phone recoveries when there is a lot of metal trash from boaters such as aluminum cans and other metal trash.

Yea, I'm late to the party, as usual! Haha! This was my first time using the underwater shaft, even though it's not new. Since I'm just getting back into detecting after a lengthy break, I don't have any of the new detectors on the market. So, I'm using the machines I do have! :D Perhaps I'll get my hands on some of the newer ones. All in due time! Thanks for watching!
enjoyed the video. the fun about metal detecting is you you never know what your going to find. thanks for posting. i look forward to the next video. Larry
Glad you enjoyed it! And you're right, it's always an adventure metal detecting. :D
I’ve missed you. So very glad you are back, another great informative video! Thank you!
Aww, thank you! I've missed detecting and I'm super glad to be back at it. :D Thanks for watching!
Cool hunt thanks for sharing!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Yay! Another She Detector video!
Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
You're definitely getting better at pinpointing where the item is really hope you find something big to share with all of us ❤
Thank you! It's only taken me this long. Lol! I hope I find a big fat treasure chest. That would be amazing!
That was a lot of fun! So glad to be seeing your videos again! Now if we can get Relic Recoverist to start doing metal detecting videos again we'll be set.
Thank you, and thanks for watching! I'm glad to be back at it again. Yea, I heard she stopped detecting and now does thrifting videos. I hear she's doing pretty good. Maybe one day she'll get back into detecting. :) Fingers crossed!
After that build up about the island, I thought for sure you would show us or at least tell us what it looks like 😅 I'm looking forward to some scuba detecting videos.
Lol! You know what, you're totally right! I was so excited to use my underwater shaft, I completely forgot about the island and whether or not it was still there. It was though. Haha! I'll have to go back out and get some footage to show what it looks like.
Glad ur back. I've enjoyed your videos for a few years. Then you disappeared. So I'm glad ur back.
I'm so glad to be back! Yea, I took an unintentional break. Funny how life has a way of doing that. But I'm back and I've got lots of detecting to do! Thanks for watching!
i love tarpon springs!!!!!! great gryos
Me too! And yes, the food here is amazing! Thanks for watching!
Way cool video
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
I think you should go to the east side of Florida or the keys. There's a lot of sunk treasure from many many moons ago. People still find good stuff old Spanish coins and such. Good luck have fun
Oh yes, it's for sure a plan of mine to go hunt the east coast. I was supposed to go earlier this year but had to cancel at the last minute due to weather. :(
It's a nice addition to have. How was the island?
I would imagine with the storms the good stuff is out in deeper water now. It's crazy how things get shifted by the waves. Glad to see out enjoying yourself again. And it will get better. You just have to find where things moved to. Thanks for doing the review. Keep em coming!
Yea, in my excitement to use the new underwater shaft, I completely forgot all about the island. Lol! Oops! The island was still there, surprisingly. I'll have to go back out and get some footage of it. Perhaps I'll take my dive gear and see just where all the goodies went.
@@SheDetector no problem, you'll be out there again. You already know where to look. If the dip in the beach goes down beyond the break. You'll have a pretty good amount of ringers. Hope you really find something amazing. Good luck.
Yes beautiful video the 🦀 it was going to get you lol saludos desde Chicago 🖖🖖🖖🖖
Thank you! And thanks for watching. Oh yes, that crab was out for me that's for sure. I'm lucky I got away. :D
I sow His bad intención to bite you lol 😆
At first glance I thought the sponge was going to be an axe 🪓 head
How crazy would that have been! Would be pretty neat to find an axe in the ocean though. :)
You must,t look to menacing underwater, that crab was going to have a go.
Hahaha! I know right!? I was trying to swim backwards because he was coming at me. :D
Gloves are a mandatory part of gear.
Looks like you need some weight to keep those feet planted.😂
Oh yes, I always have them with me. Whether or not I remember to put them on is another story. Lol!
Lol! I should have taken my dive weight belt out with me.
Did that crab swim away or crawl away?
I think he swam away. After coming after me first. He was ready to throw down I think! Haha!
hi, how big is your coil ?
Where u been ok
Honestly, no where amazing. :( I took an unintentional break. But I'm back now! :D
Thank you for de-trashing our ocean, too bad in California it's illegal to remove lead and mercury from the water ways by dredging for gold.
Wow, really? That's weird that it would be illegal. But, I do my part and make sure I take whatever trash I find while hunting. :D Thanks for watching!
No pieces of eight ?
Sadly, no. :( Maybe one day though!
Nice high-quality trash!
Lol! Oh yea! I'm good at that at least. :D
