Well, I understood it immediately and English isn't my first language. You even remembered the Marilyn Monroe cover from National Anthem music video. She has made so many great cover versions.I haven't even heard majority of these ones. "Summer Wine" - I love Nancy Sinatra's version (I have her collection) and Lana gives lots of respect for the song. I love "The Other Woman" but I don't think it fits in Ultraviolence. A great cover but I wish "Black Beauty" would have been included also the main version - well I have the 14 song version anyway. She likes Britney Spears very much but obviously she hasn't covered any of her songs. Also Eminem, Kendrick Lamar...I hope she would cover a rap song too. Thank you for this video. I believe it took lots of time and work to do this one. :)
Actually don't let me be misunderstood is by Jessie Mae Robinson! If you're gonna correct somone please give the songs legacy to the correct person. Jessie later gave permission to singer Etta James to cover it wich Nina heard and then covered herself.
@@JesusGomez-ob2qt Nina Simone was the original singer and recorder of “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”. Jessie May Robinson wrote the lyrics to “The Other Woman” originally performed and released by Sarah Vaughan (1955). Simone would perform live versions of The Other Woman, but her recorded version wasn’t released until 1959.
Sorry if the title was kinda confusing, I didn’t know what else to call this video

Scarborough fair is also from a different artist, but no one knows who it truly originated from
It is an English folk song about a market fair that took place in the town of Scarborough in Yorkshire during medieval times.
Shoegaze forever yes but no one knows who originally wrote it
@@llavediez739 That is true.
She always pays respect to the originals with her cover
