I “especially enjoyed “ this video! From the relaxing music to gorgeous scenery to all the animals. You did a fantastic job putting this together. Well done, Thankyou for sharing with us.
Your adoption of an occasional "video only" style is great! Although the textbook approach to YouTubing says that you have to present a narrated "story" is well established, it is not always valid. ....Just a straight-forward video presentation of reality is in IMHO, far superior, and you are doing a fine job of it. Thanks.
Such a peaceful video and Burley is such a little goof ball in the snow. His joy at romping around in the snow is obvious and brings a smile to my face! He’s so funny and very cute! But everyone seems to enjoy the snow on your homestead!
Thank you for sharing the beauty of God’s creation through your eyes. Stunning photography, and your choice of music is always perfect for the setting. The cat in the snow in slow motion is beautiful, as are all the shots of your pets and animals. Thanks again. You remind us that there is beauty and goodness in the world.
Indeed a wonderland, each flake an individual gift, a nutureing blanket trying to provide. Each animal seems to know, though feet are cold it's a blessed snowfall. Ducks on their "snowshoes" breaking the trail. Early spring birds chirp "what the he**" May all your seasons be blessed and helpful. Take care
You lead the life I only dream of. My husband won’t move to tiny house living, nor live a more sustainable lifestyle. I do grow a sizeable garden each year, but wish I could have chickens. You are truly blessed and I live through the videos you share of your beautiful life. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Just passing along...If anyone is looking 12ac 2 tiny homes well water, solar, etc can't post link address is 0 Jacks Fork Farmstead Hwy 137 willow springs MO Zillow MLS: 6*0*2*1*1*8*3*4 cash/verifiable funds only... Take care!
If you want chickens you can. You can have two or three chickens and handle that just fine...check out some you tube videos on that and get some inspiration. You live your best life where you are and with what you have. It's ok, you are blessed.
I love watching how all of the animals enjoy the snow. It's great that the mountain areas are receiving more moisture. Would you show how much it helped the stream later in May during one of your walks please? It would be interesting to see how it looks compared to the video you did last year. The water was low then. Thanks so much for sharing Ariel and Clay.
It's wonderful to see your animals enjoying the winter weather. A testament to your research and forethought to work with your location instead of against it. As always your videos are beautiful and soothing. Thank you. 😊
The chickens walking in the snow was funny. You almost hear them saying, “Oh ick!!” Some would lift their feet high. I’m glad you like the snow! I’d let everybody out yell, “Follow me!” And we’d all go inside and huddle around the stove.
Wow! I agree with many others. This is one of your best videos, ever. What a great eye you have for capturing the antics and activities of your furry and feathery friends and the beauty of a snowy April day. Healthy, happy animals, perfect music, beautiful scenery. The warmth and loveliness of your home. A nod to the gardening and projects to come. Thank you for sharing. An amazing life that many of us dream for. PS. I recently retired. Have camper van, will travel. In search of a small piece of land, great weather, and a place to put down new roots. Finishing up the solar on the camper ... and here we go!
So beautiful! This was very calming to watch! I would gladly take that snow. It was 86 in NJ a couple days ago. Too hot. I function better in cooler weather. All your critters seem to like snow. Sending you, Clay, & all your critters lots of hugs and love ❤️❤️
The critters, the music, the fire, warmth and comfort of your home, watching you tending it all, combine with the snowy day to make for perfection. Thank you for sharing. Texas
How beautiful, the snow, your animals, you, and your lovely home!!! Thank you for sharing your experiences. I loved the music too. I am enjoying my coffee and imagining how all my senses would take in your Fy Nyth snow day!!! Seriously, I know I would never know about them without your videos. Thanks for the joy you bring to me and many others
Yay! I'm also really pleased with this early spring snow here in NW Oregon. Not far from the coast and this storm system came through last week bringing much needed snow and rain. While we are not in the worst drought right here, we are still needing more rain. I can't believe I just said that, but it's true. What isn't well known is that in spite of all the rain in the valley and snow in the Cascades, our summers here are hot and very dry. So, like in Wyoming, even here we need that winter rain and snow. I care about how we are all faring with climate change and I'm happy anytime we see something close to the old normal. I really like your videos, Ariel. Thank you.
I loved the shots when you walked through the snow covered trees. Those chickens are so pretty with all of their different colored feathers. Thanks for sharing.
Have you thought about keeping Rabbits Ariel ? UK Bofins during and after WW2 said they gained the most weight to table than any other animal and the UK Government encouraged City dwellers to keep caged Rabbits . I love a Rabbit stew and it's kidneys and liver are my favourite .
Very nice and soothing. I was struck at how blue your eyes are 😯 very pretty 🤩. My cats love your videos also especially when there are chickens and kitties running around. Yay snow!!
I'm finding peace and calm in your videos today. My father passed recently I'm dealing with the emotions that come with that. This video especially has been soothing for my soul. Thank you for your content.
Beautiful and serene and healing. A lovely and different view of spring. Loved seeing the robin in the tree. Also was amused by Zipper pretending that he did Not fall over in the snow. 13:26 My cat Frank would never admit a tumble either. Here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, it will be 85 and stormy (again) today--early summer already.
We’ve lived off grid since 1984. I appreciate your honesty about life, tiny homes and homesteading. I’m happy Clay is in your life now. Your dogs, cats and critters all seem to get along so well. A question. What brand and model is your wood stove? I’m certain you’ve gone over it before but I’m lazy and don’t wish to chase that video down.
Beautiful photography! Thank you! “Snow is the cheapest fertilizer.” …I think this is a quote from “Farmer Boy” by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Snow and rain pull nitrogen from the air as it falls, thus fertilizing the soil. Farmer Boy is a delightful story of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s husband’s childhood on a prosperous farm in New York State in the 1800’s. I love the descriptions of the technology of the time…cutting winter ice, taking care of livestock, growing their own food, making clothing and huge amounts of delicious food!
Thank you Ariel for sharing such a lovely, tranquil video with us. I can't even pick ONE thing that makes me the happiest to see. Everything is beautiful. I hope you and Clay are happy and healthy and are enjoying your lives together. :-)
I loved this. So much beauty there where you live. I’m so envious of this lifestyle. To be surrounded by the wildlife and animals, it’s my dream life. I’m sure it’s difficult at times, but we’ll worth it. I aspire to live like this. Burley loves snow! 💓 Even the kitties love it! Those are the healthiest and prettiest chickens I’ve ever seen! They all look so happy.
Gosh what a lovely video. You've done a terrific job , especially with the birds in slow motion. I enjoyed this very much. I just love the snow, but we are into the slush on wet pavement season. There is a nesting swan in the pond out the back, though. And hey, Ariel, those ducks are so intrepid. I just love them!
This was such a beautiful video ❤️ I loved the music you had playing in the background. Absolutely perfect. I also enjoyed the way you edited it as to changing it up and showing a whole series of clips instead of like 10 minutes of just one animal or another. Thank you so much Corpus Christi TX
WOW!!! Ariel, you've hit another home run! You combined all the best elements of the season, including all the animals and pets, and have given us all an unforgettable gift of the heart... Blessings... From Vermont
I have been meaning to ask you if you see many wild animals at your new place like you did where you previously lived? Also, all of your animals look so happy and healthy. Burley is in his glory romping in the snow. Wish we could see more of Clay
Thank you for taking me to a place I never want to leave. Everything about this video is perfection. Job well done Ariel and your sidekick Mr. Burley! Bravo and take a bow💜
So thankful you got snow! Good to restore water table. All the animals seemed to enjoy it too! I so enjoyed beautiful scenery, life around the homestead. Thanks Ariel!
I love snow from October to the middle of March then I’m over it. Though when people complain about the snow, I remind them of the importance of snow for our farmers, lakes, gardens, green grass. We don’t have too many hot days where we live in northern Michigan. I don’t mind cold weather and like temps up to about 80.
Beautiful video. I love snow, too, and the contemplative style of this video was so relaxing. I miss my wood stove and wonder what was the powder you put in it before lighting it?
We live across the border from you, but more West. For the past week, we have been waking to this type of weather, fluffy snow. By evening, its clear skies. Temperature is hovering around 0 Celsius, not sure about Fahrenheit.
I really enjoy your videos like this a day of Wyoming Springtime with all your animals and a surprise snowfall like this one is okay, because it's magical. Blessings from above bringing much needed moisture to the area. Happy Easter to all
Beautiful film , very contemplative. Can’t help wondering what you’d be cooking for dinner?to keep warm and nourished.?how long would the bean sprouts grow and what was the bird calling in the tree?thanks and may god warmly bless you this Easter.
Glad you're getting the moisture, we have been in a drought for the last two years in Northern Minnesota, I think we have finally caught up. 90 plus inches of snow this winter and more to come today. Really ready for spring. You all have a beautiful homestead.
I really love all your videos Ariel, but those really contemplative ones really bring me peace and profound plenitude. Tank you for sharing so much beauty! Bless you! 🙏😍
The middle of April isn’t late winter where I’m from in the Midwest, even if we get some snowfalls in April, and sometimes later. When I lived in the South I missed the change of the seasons, but snow can overstay it’s welcome. Ariel, if you love snow you’re in the right place. Your homagé to snow is strikingly beautiful.
When I'm in the woods every fiber in me relaxes. The only way top this feeling is to hang snow from every branch. Wow is this scene peaceful for me. Also funny because birds and their very animated personality's. Like the chickens high stepping through the snow and Mr. and Mrs. Duck with one of them sounding the alarm "It's the human!''' Thanks for sharing, this was a blast.
You're a great photographer Ariel.

Some people are not cut out for cramped living conditions no matter how others call it sustainable or cozy.
@@mircat28 Wasn't Ariel's photography wonderful!

Beautiful. An easy add to my “Must watch again” playlist.
Me also. It was one of her best, I think.
Beautiful snow. I loved how the color of the chickens contrasted against the white snow as they marched out. ❤️
So beautiful! This was very calming to watch! I would gladly take that snow. It was 86 in NJ a couple days ago. Too hot. I function better in cooler weather. All your critters seem to like snow. Sending you, Clay, & all your critters lots of hugs and love ❤️❤️
I don't know what it is about watching someone clean and light a fire but it is so therapeutic.
God has blessed you Ariel. Please keep sharing your gifts with us. In these tumultuous times our souls need feeding.
I can certainly tell that photography is your passion- beautiful shots in your video, what a wonderful life you have created
I absolutely love and appreciate all you videos but especially the falling snow and animals frolicking ones 💗🌨

Beautiful to watch the chickens in the snow and interaction. Tiny house looks like lovey house from a story. You should write a book.
Lovely!! I could just smell the air 🤗. Really enjoy watching Burley, Velcro and Zipper and the birds!! Enjoy your day!!❤
Yes! Could even feel it!
Ahhh… this video was a work of art! Thank you the peaceful moments you created, much needed in these stressful times!
Thank you for sharing one of the most beautiful days on your homestead.

Such a peaceful relaxing vlog. Seeing your animals enjoying the snow was delightful. You captured the undeniable beauty of winter.....
Have you thought about keeping Rabbits Ariel ? UK Bofins during and after WW2 said they gained the most weight to table than any other animal and the UK Government encouraged City dwellers to keep caged Rabbits .

I always enjoy when there is no wind and enjoying the peaceful snowfall….. Such quiet and peace..

Your videos are like therapy. Blessings.
Crazy weather this year getting real snow mid April.
