Lamborghini has different software in virtual cockpit display. Audi is more relaxed environment. Less colors to choose from.
100%. I have an SQ8 and instead of tuning the Q8 for more HP they put the big motor in the S so it's really a bargain and makes the extra cost of of the RS hard to justify.

Great vehicle (IMO the best looking one compared to Urus/Cayenne) but why does Audi 1) limit interior color choice on most its vehicles and 2) keep those plasticky paddles (even R8 had those)! Both so easy to correct but apparently no one at Audi is paying attention
They do it to differentiate it from Porsche and Lamborghini. It’s a huge bargain compared. You can buy an aftermarket wheel with big paddles and have seats reupholstered in any color you want. Then it’s a rare one off. At a bargain.
The RSQ8 is still a beautiful vehicle and a great package. That second row legroom is incredible . It’s too bad the Atlas Cross Sport did not get some of this goodness given they share this platform.
Tune it stage 1 and it'll be over 680hp & 700ft+lb torque on 91octane OR 700+hp& torque on 93 octane then you can forget the Lambo (you'll find THE SAME Audi/VW marked parts from all over the different parts hidden under it's body panels). I wouldn't bother w/ceramic brakes because their too costly to replace.
How many times are you going to mention you'd buy the RS6 Avant over this? This 💩 all over the RS6 and MUCH better looking by far. And on the used market, you'll fair better on this than the RS6
Anyone who does not use 91 octane or better in this V8 is a penny wise and a pound foolish. The extra 80 cents a gallon is worth the extra cost after spending $141k for this vehicle.
I saw one of these in my neighborhood here in El Paso, Tx. What stood out was that amazing color. It reminded me of the type of orange used in the Lowrider community. It really popped. Gr8 vid as usual. 🚗🇺🇸
I wanted to love this vehicle. Two reasons I went with an X5 was a strong dislike of the Audi’s dash and for me the seats were not as comfortable as the BMW’s comfort seats. I did love the 2nd row legroom, the cargo area and how the car drove and handled. It reminded me of an updated version of my old A6 Allroad from the early 2000’s.
Unfortunately the M60i didn’t exist at that time and BMW wouldn’t let me order the X5 with the X3M Comp’s motor. Covid severely restricted what was available at that time. BMW has had way too many years with problems with their V8’s, which lead to several class action lawsuits. Looks like they’ve figured it out with this new V8. Launch control mode is a blast.

From studying this and not have driven the Q8 SQ8 or RSQ8. But, I do own a SQ5. I could probably find an end of year model Q8 for close to the cost of the SQ8, but to me there would point unless I jumped up to the SQ5 and I think for the kind of driving I do, that would be a better ride to the RSQ8. So that could be my next one.

The exterior looks great, but I'd chose a less flashy color. It could also use more aggressive wheels as these are just mediocre, but the black package is very welcome choice.The interior may be of high-quality but its just bland. Audi really needs to offer more colors and color combination. In hate a dark depressing interior, and all that reflective finger print magnet piano black. Cup holders need a cover. Otherwise, they become dust and lint collectors that looks bad. I'm also not a fan of the integrated head rests. This may be a sporty vehicle, but its not a race car. One size does not fit all. The back seat is cavernous, but I wish more manufactures would offer clips on the back of the front seats to mount an iPad. Additionally, I've always seen cars where the rear window doesn't go all the way down as just a poor design. The center mounted HVAC control panel should be angled up @12:40 On the bright side, the graphics look great (too bad you can't color match) and it retains a panoramic sun roof that still opens, unlike its EV variants. @17:20 the cooler weather shouldn't have much any effect on the tires, but it will aid in the power of the turbos.

Genuinely question that I hope gets answered What’s the point of a RSQ8? It only makes 91 more hp from the SQ8. You get the same gloss black trim inside and out as well. Wouldn’t you just buy a SQ8, and for the power junkies, get it tuned to make more power than the 90 extra of the RSQ8?
For those who want factory warranty with more power, RS badges, and ceramic brakes. Plus you lose RS modes. SQ8 is the absolute bargain though. Tuning it removes warranty though. Unfortunately.

I’m also a BMW guy, but I would pick the RSQ8 over X5M50 all day. After driving them both, Audi all day long.
@@lizkatariThe only BMW engine I recommend are the B58 6 cylinder and tune it. The V8’s are way too problematic and expensive to repair.
