Iman really showcased what this show is supposed to be about. He came in with no dance experience and took the critiques and advice he was given and improved every single week. His size was a disadvantage going in but Daniella used it showcase his strengths and they developed a level of trust and respect that really shined through. He deserved this win.

I’m so happy Daniella joined the ranks of pros who won in their SECOND SEASON… in all 30 seasons, it’s only happened 6 times including her. Her fresh energy is what the show needed
This top 2 was SO correct. Iman is truly what this show is about and his win is so deserved! I’m also so so happy for Jojo and Jenna and all that they’ve accomplished! Jojo truly has become someone who I will look up to for the rest of my life.
Jojo actually danced, put over 100 hours and had alot if details in but Iman his dances were kinda simple but still won i don’t get how he won but congrats

YAYYYYYY!!..and in my opinion, all the DWTS should compete without previous dance training, so it will be fair for all the dancers to have a chance to win...JUST SAYING🙃😊💃🕺

Their Horror Night freestyle really showcased the trust they have in each other. And the skillset they utilized just perfected them all the way through. The growth since day 1 was the biggest anybody has ever seen. Well done you guys!

Jojo and Iman have been my favorites since early mid-competition. It's so rare that two people I think are deserving of winning anything actually end up being the final 2! Congrats to both pairs-- Daniella and Jenna's choreography both was just absolutely insane all season.

They didn’t deserve it and I don’t know why you were saying they did they did not deserve to win they were terrible that’s why they did not win because they were not great they made us no the judges to let them dance together with two women but obviously can’t do that with the people who are voting people did the right thing and not vote for Jo Jo I am glad that they didn’t win second place is that nothing so I don’t know what your boy waiting on more when second-place doesn’t mean anything Nana dancing with the stars anyway stay there terrible I am so glad that they didn’t win justice did the right thing by not letting them win because they did not deserve to win they were not good at all They might’ snow the Judges by letting two women dance together but they didn’t snow the People the right people won second place does it mean nothing Nana dancing with the stars so that’s fantastic anybody who like Joe Joe has no taste because they were terrible dancers j

No Cheryl and her partner should’ve not one they weren’t even on the show the whole thing because they had Covid they didn’t dance together I mean the whole time that wasn’t a fair competition they should’ve just skipped it this year together when people get hurt they’re out so why is it different if you got Covid no they should’ve been been on it this year people get sick all the time and can’t do stuff when they’re sick so this didn’t make any sense so they didn’t deserve to win because they couldn’t even dance with us each is all time people practice all the time should be on there but people who cannot dance with each other should’ve never been on there though and I don’t know what’s your name Matt about saying making history because the guy one so I don’t know what she meant by that does anybody know what she meant by making history because I don’t know what she meant by that the girls did not win so I don’t know what she meant by either way they would be history made does anybody understand their reason but yet again not Cheryl Do not deserve to win because they didn’t even buy them practice their dance the whole time either

Biggest congrats to Iman and Daniella! They started off with the height difference obstacle and Iman having no dance ability but worked every week to improve. Daniella's choreography shined and their teamwork was superb. Out of the four finalists, this was well deserved!!

I am completely over the moon for Iman and Daniella. Truly didn’t know how the finale would pan out at all. Daniella should feel SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of her and Iman’s partnership. She is such a force. They complimented each other so well. Great ending to the season!
That’s what I said too, they were a perfect match. They just had this swag about them that nobody else on this season had. There final dance was probably the best dance of the season, I’m happy they won it 🏆

@@OctPSfever That is your opinion. Are Iman and Daniella my favorite winners ever? No. They’re certainly one of my favorites though. They had these fun dances that truly stood out thanks to Iman’s fun-loving attitude and Daniella’s great choreo. The lifts they could pull off are ones we have never seen before. Ever. They had their own unique strengths and I praise them for that. He brought a different energy to the floor and I think that deserves some mad love.

Well considering she had prior dancing experience, it’s hardly surprising.
To me this is the epitome of what this show is about. Working as a team, hard work and determination. Iman makes history as the first NBA player to ever win DWTS and Daniella one of the first pros to win in just her second season. The most deserving win on DWTS 🏆🙏🏼

I’m really happy Iman and Daniella won. I know many wanted Jojo and Jenna to win but with them they both were just always good? I feel like this show is about what Iman and Daniella did. This season was the first one in 2 years that I actively voted & I have voted for Iman since the beginning! I loved his willingness to receive critics and improve himself each week. I felt like he would do well as long as ppl voted to keep him in the competion so I voted for him every week. When they announced him as the winner I was cheering loud and clapping like I do for my beloved football team. I hate to say this but I agree Cody should have been eliminated in either week two or week three dispite the fact that he and his partner Cheryl got and tested positive for COVID-19
so happy for them!!! Iman and Daniela worked so hard on their height difference and his lack of experience, and created incredible dances!!!
Usually I can tell who would win, but this year it was impossible between the voters having a HEAVY say and the amount of straight up IMPROVEMEMT that EVERYONE MADE. It was such a great season

same here!! I can usually tell who is going to win but this year was super unique!!!! it truly was impossible to tell who was going to win cause the bar was set super high from week 1.
I started watching DWTS in HS, I’m 25 now. This was probably the best win I’ve ever seen and I’m so glad I voted for Iman every week. I really love him & Teyana and I grew up as a pro hip hop dancer so I saw the potential Iman had and he really put in the work, being tall (I’m 5’9) and a dancer is not easy at all. Iman had no background of dancing but as a champ he didn’t let that hold him back. So deserving, LET’S GO! 🙏🏽
Jojo had the talent and the skill… Iman had the heart and the growth !!! Ye very different journeys with two beautiful outcomes and they both should be VERY proud of themselves
Jojo was already a dancer. She shouldn't have been on the show. She was on the same level as the pros. That was a huge advantage to her.
@@ashleydowney1222 LOL. Jojo's dance skill levels were nowhere near professional. People seem to keep forgetting that there were other trained dancers on this season. Amanda Kloots is a Broadway star. Mel C was a frigging Spice Girl. Someone else is a trained gymnast. Etc. Etc. Jojo is not a classically trained ballroom dancer. She learned to dance from her Mom and Abby Lee Miller (who couldn't dance to start with). I would just rewatch her and Jenna's routines on UA-cam the day after the show aired and the girl definitely improved as the weeks went on. I'll go back and watch Iman's routines. Jojo is still the winner in my book because she had the bravery to step out of the box and decide to have a same sex partner and the two of them were fantastic together.

@@SassySorrelFilly Mel C actually has a lot dance experience outside of the Spice Girls. She has danced for many years. Reality shows are heavily edited. On Dance Moms they had another choreographer who wasn't Abby and she would teach the girls the dances and the choreographer could actually dance. But it wasn't shown on Dance Moms. Amanda is also a dancer. She was a Rockette before she was a Broadway actress.

Couldn't agree more! I feel like because the bar was set super high from week 1 everyone had to step up they're game and push themselves out of their comfort zones and because of this I feel this is why the couples who were eliminated early, it was because they cracked under the pressure to early. Iman said one week that he lives under pressure and wasn't intimidated by it ~ being a basketball player this makes complete sense. They won fair and square and I couldn't be happier for them and JoJo and Jenna made history by being the first same sex couple to compete on DTWS. I'm a ballroom dancer myself and former dancer and I also dance with my female coach Casey so I was super happy to see this. It's time to see more same sex couples compete on DTWS.
He wasn’t my pick to win, but I’m so glad he did win. He embraced everything the show is about and and just progressed week by week. He won the hearts of so many people. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 great job Iman!

I am so glad that Jojo didn't win. She definitely had an unfair advantage going into the show. Iman was the only one of the four who hadn't had prior dance experience. I am glad that a non dancer won.

Kudos to Amanda for making it to the Finale. Hosting a talk show and competing on a dance competition show at the same time is not easy to juggle
I was rooting for Jojo the entire season but Iman truly blossomed and he proved that slow and steady wins the race. What a PERFECT final 2
America got the final 2 right!!! I was rooting/voting for Jojo but after last week I said to myself " Iman and Daniela are going to win I know it" and I was right. I feel like Iman and Daniela's freestyle routine pushed them over the top and is what helped them win in the end otherwise JoJo and Jenna would have won. They both made history as well and either win would have been amazing. Because they tied for 1st place on the leader board it came down to the number of votes cause didn't tyra say that the winner had a " record breaking number of votes".
Iman is truly what the show was about!! Jojo is a professional dancer, so it was basically a pro and a pro dancing together between her and Jenna.
He certainly followed through and did what he said he would do - go the distance. Congrats Iman and Daniella, so proud of both of you.

I have watched this prob a dozen times now. I just can't get enough of watching the reaction from Iman when his name is announced. Most deserved winner ever. And of course Daniella was freaking amazing as well.

I honestly think both deserved to win! This was a hard season...I can't lie, I was rooting so hard for Jojo but Iman has improved so much and he has shown that he can step up to the plate every dance as well. That's what this competition is about so it was well deserved!

I am beyond happy for him. Before this show I didn't know who he was, and he had absolutely no dance experience yet came out each week and killed it. And after his Halloween dance, I felt he deserved to win the whole show just for that dance alone. Loved all of his dances and Daniella's choreography really showcased him perfectly. Wonderful partnership, this has literally made my day.

@@allie6469 OH well. She had years of prior dance experience. That definitely gave her an advantage. She wasn't the only contestants who had a prior dance experience. Mel C, Cody, Amanda's and Melora all had dance experience. Although Melora's was when she was a little girl.

The positive representation and visibility they have provided for the LGBTQ+ community means everything to me. Growing up, I would have needed to see this on TV, but I'm SO glad I get to see it now. Well now TWO . When they posted that , the movie was their inspo for the finales , it was honestly over with then. Due to how HUGE the movie is ( lolol , I haven't even seen it ) it was bound to get extra views and votes. I feel like peoole were not putting up with anything less due to Danis dedication and choreography and imans strength and perserverance

Well deserved I’m so happy for the both of them. Each week they bought their “A” game and knocked it out the park. Daniella is an amazing choreographer, She was able to use his strengths and created such an amazing Dance week after week. They killed it!!
Congratulations!! Iman & Daniella y’all killed it ALL season. The best choreography the show has ever seen. Much deserved!!! So happy that was the final two!!! Would have been happy with either one winning, but loved Iman and Danielle from the start. Jojo and Jenna did incredible and should be proud!!
