With the lack of reactions, I was mote disappointed than shocked. Zhongli, Noelle and, to some extent Albedo, are still serviceable on Dendro teams. The others...well... aren't?

It's because geo just isn't managed properly. Everyone used to trash talk electro before dendro but geo is the element that needs a rework. Geo characters are bad simply because it's a game of elements but geo characters are not much better with the use of their elements.
Dendro is life but geo is supposed to be Earth so there's far more potential for it than most of the other elements yet none of that potential is seen.
Because they don't have reactions with other elements. Mono Geo is the only way to play Geo hence anyone barely uses them. Itto's geo team is still the strongest in the element. Navia if she is DPS might be a 2nd group.

Cyno, by himself, is a good unit. But he doesn't have any dedicated dendro supports that can keep up with him. Plus, Keqing can do better than him at the same amounts of investment.
I am genuinely scared of the units in Fontaine. After seeing what a disappointment most Sumeru 5 ⭐ units were, I lost interest in the Gacha. Cause I am scared Fontaine 5 ⭐s are even worse.

@@NeuaGenshinCan’t tell if you’re baiting. However there IS a weak point for enemies which adds a bonus damage. Though there are also enemies without any weak points like slimes, weekly bosses, etc… Most players in respective videos are either nuking weekly bosses or mini bosses. In the trial if remember correctly, there were humanoid monsters and they all have weak points. Aiming with Navia on weak points on the other hand, I don’t know. Can’t say anything about that since you just one tap E?

Baizhu is really underated. He sustains a lot providing a good chunk of heals and shield, also he's part of dendro impact.

@@renote5559nope he is great support for electro dps's since he shield, heals and applies dendro and the fact he can do all let's more spots for more characters and try more team comps because he does it all so more team variety so electro mains love him but of course he can be paired for other characters like nilou so yes he is very good
@@renote5559i guarantee that he is very great, even when built as a DPS, not only he does DMGs, but he also heals a LOT, and i'm not even done with his build.
Not only does he heal a lot, but he provides a pretty significant damage buff to dendro reactions while his shield is active, and depending on the team can even be a better slot in than nahida especially considering that while his shield doesnt necessarily provide great damage mitigation, it does help prevent characters with low interuption resistance from being ragdolled. Not even just for electro dps, but also dendro dps. I run him (c0) with c6 alhaitham, and although sometimes I swap him out for nahida for the healer Nahida memes, the team with baizhu in it actually performs slightly better then the team with Nahida in it as while she gives a slightly higher buff to team damage, swapping her for bahizhu means you are free to slot in two very good sub-dps as opposed to another healer plus it helps prevent Alhiatham from being ragdolled as he is very prone to it. With a r3 proto amber and around 200% ER neither him or my Alhaitham (116%ER) suffer from energy problems and most of the time are able to burst every rotation provided I dont mess up my rotations. While Kuki is a great alternative, Alhaitham tends to run better with a spread team than a hyberbloom team to maximise his personal damage and Kuki's skill doesnt tend to have enough uptime to fully utilise Alhaitham's kit prr rotation, especially if you are prone to lag (I average 200-300 ping), and running Baizhu with him also frees up Nahida to potentially be used to make a hyperbloom team on the other side of abyss. I have also run him just fine in teams that dont rely on dendro reactions with other characters that benefit from interuption resistance and a healer such as Yoimiya, and he performs well in these teams too in certain situations such as the current abyss where burning and burgeon teams are weirdly meta.

As a geo master, I can confirm that we didn't get one single geo in the whole of sumeru. The last geo was yunjin.
Just to make it more clear, we now have MORE DENDRO CHARACTERS THAN GEO CHARACTERS.
So yeah. Hoyo hates geo and we will probably get even less geo.

And the sad Part is GEO is from the same Region as the games company China. You'd think they would make Geo one of the most usefull Elements when it even has 3 or mabe even more artefact sets you can use it with. 2 from Lyue one from Inazuma and I think even Fontaine has new artefacts that work with Geo as well.
I don't think they hate geo, I think they just have their reasons. I mean there's only two electro males. I'm still waiting on a really good electro guy, yet still don't see one in sight. Plus there's like 44 female characters to like 26 males so...

What's wrong with Baizhu??? I know he wasn't that popular but I saw no one complaining about his gameplay. He heals and is a dendro catalyst, that's a great support right there. And while I get why Cyno isn't the first choice to play or build, whenever he shows up in event domains he's always my favourite to play just because of how fun his burst is and how satisfying it is to kill enemies with it.

Baizhu and Cyno are amazing!! No slander please!! My Baizhu heals up 9-13k per E. My Cyno does 20k with Burst and E. It just depends on how you build them and the team comps you use. If you're not using them correctly, they could just not be to your taste.
So please until you've actually put the effort you put into your other characters into them, don't judge them. If you have put the effort, the exp books, the resin, and energy into them like you do others, and you STILL don't like them. Then you're entitled to bot like their style. There's a reason why some characters are harder to work with.
I don't care about Dehya spander though. I have her on my alt and I don't like her too much.

I really, *REALLY* hope Navia is good. I wasn’t wild about her at first, but ever since she first showed up in the story, she has really grown on me design wise and character wise. Best of all is she geo and uses a claymore, I don’t have any strong geo or claymore characters on my account yet. Whatever she ends up doing, I hope shes just good at it, she doesn’t even need to be meta defining.

Im one of the Baizhu doubter before but after getting him accidentally (10pity) he shines good in my Bilou Bloom. He was the last puzzle for my perfect Nilou bloom. Im also able to swap Zhongli to Baizhu in Yaeaggravate.

Plus he is not made to be shielder. His shield is made for dendro application plus interuption resist
@@moth6084 Nahida, al haitan and even dendro traveler have better dendro aplication. His shield does not provide resist consistantly and it only make a unrealiable protection that fail when you most need. Kirara shield does a better job with her 12 duration 8 CD shield. And even for hea+ aplication alone kuki and kokomi do a better job on both ways for reactions.

@@ianesgrecia8568Yaoyao is worse than Baizhu and seeing people think the opposite is sad. Baizhu doesnt need to be on field for his ult, yao yao does, baizhu can heal off field AND deal damage at the same time while yao yao…cant, Baizhu buffs all reactions and his shield is for 1) interrupt resist since its strong enough to take a hit or two before refresh, 2) to block bloom and burgeon damage, 3) to stop you from taking burning damage, he applies dendro with every part of his kit and has better range and auto tracking, and he doesnt need the enemy to stand 2 ft from a rabbit doll, he’s a tall male character which have the fastest running and dodge speeds and faster climbing and swimming, is catalyst so he can target mid air enemies with his primary.
The only issue he has is energy management vs HP amount being a struggle if you dont have his BiS, either way he buffs dmg more than c6 yao yao, dendro application might be abit weaker but it isnt needed since hyper, burgeon,bloom all have a cooldown on how many times u can trigger its dmg, and bloom and aggrevate typically have 2 dendro or electro.
Overall just a better unit, its just 5 star hate cause people want to hate, he’s a more sustainable unit than many of your favorite “good” 5 stars in the long run

We NEED a Geo rework.
Going to be hard to do without making geo busted. As i stated in another video giving geo an offensive reaction would make it far too broken to justify.
@@IveBeenWithBruma Possibly. But the current reaction can barely be counted as defensive either. It would literally be better if it gave dmg reduction instead of a flimsy shield. (Which a few Geo characters already have, thus making the reaction even more irrelevant)
@@holymoly-ii6of Geo is for raw numbers per investment. You get bigger gains in the long haul with geo vs any other element. This is why an offensive elemental reaction isn't as needed do to how the element works to begin with. Let's put it like this imagine an effect like burning on a hyper invested Itto team. It will turn into a 25-30% damage increase on a already very fast clear speed team and that can equal to tens if not hundreds of thousands in total damage per rotation. As it stands geo needs a solid battery not an elemental reaction.

Well if there was any skill to be added and because the games is all about numbers not finding a "real" strategy. This will only make geo OP as all hell.
See i knew the game was going to be diverse in terms of strategy and the types of enemies we get. (Being gacha doesnt mean your restricted in gameplay development)
Geo is a defensive element. Providing shields. So clearly at first it would have gotten some use if enemies added debuffs. Had difficult movement. So on and so forth.
But because of how things developed, people complaining about "difficulty". They made the game ridiculously easy as hecks.
Geo is strong. Its raw damage is crazy strong. Adding an offensive element would make so basically all of them far stronger. Noelle would be OP as all hell. Zhongli would be busted. Albedo. Itto. You name it.

geo has always been my favorite element in genshin. i really hope hoyo can make up for the geo neglect with navia. after being cheated by dehya, candace and xinyan's kits, i don't need another potential let down like this 😓
Natland might have geo, think about it:Volcanos is rocks, and the land is fires, so we might see a geo character in Natland as well ofc pyro

Geo has the best shield, and also technically a healer (noelle) so i think ahe will be a dps or support not healer
Geo is the last element that needs a healer. If anything it needs a strong battery for it's current hypercarries. Albedo just doesn't fill that role well enough to justify a slot.

ABSOLUTELY. he is really fun to play i dont understand why people hate him
@@hillsaesthbecause he plays like ass, like his actual combat without his burst make him seem like a cripple. His attacks are unsatisfying and his "timing" E makes it look like they tried to do at least some kind if original idea in him but it just makes him look unappealing cause you need to play him in only a specific playstyle and only with his burst. He is a character who heavily relies on his burst to even be playable and do something unlike every other character in the game(even Itto with pyro infusion hits harder than base Cyno)
He is supposed to be played with Nahida but his burst is so long you usually just kill people before it ends so you are forced into a situation when you are A: switch to reaply Nahida's E and then lose your burst and it is uncharged or B: you stay in his burst and lose the potential damage, no winning options most of the time
@@Majin_Xavierras oh, i understood. but i cant still see a reason to hate him. i main him and i dont say i make good dmg but it is really fun to play with him for me. i enjoy to play and thats the important thing. ireally dont care who is making better dmg or else. if i love the character, style, etc i just pull and play.
@@hillsaesth most of it were not because of hate but because of disappointment. Cyno was hyped like crazy pre-release, plus with the whole scarab fiasco (locked behind quests, everybody joining everybody’s world for some scarabs) for his damage to just be okay-ish.
Gameplay wise, he needs em, atk%(because he has really low multiplier), er% and crcd while other dps usually only need 3 main stats (only crcd and em like alhaitham for example), he needs hyper investing just to reach the same level as other decently built dps characters.
And all of that is also locked behind his burst, a simple fix like changing his E to electro infusion skill (while keeping his E during burst the same like current cyno with higher multiplier) can already be amazing.

Just to put it into perspective:
Geo has not had a character since Yun Jin. She released in version 2.4 one and a half years ago.
In that time:
We got 4 new Archon interlude chapters. We got 8 new characters outfits. Enkanomiya came out. Raiden got a weekly boss fight. The Chasm came out. *Just Ayaka.* We had an end of version summer update. 3.0 started. Sumeru came out. Dendro came out. The entire Sumeru storyline finished. Scaramouche got a weekly boss fight. We got the TCG. Kirara came out, giving Dendro *more characters than Geo.* Eula became the character with the longest time between reruns. We got another end of version summer update. 4.0 is about to start.
As for 5 star characters:
Yae Miko came out and has had two reruns.
Kokomi, Yoimiya, Ganyu and Xiao have had three reruns.
Wanderer, Al Haitham, Nilou, Nahida, Shenhe, Cyno, Yelan and Ayato came out and have had a rerun.
Klee, Kazuha, Ayaka, Raiden, Itto, Venti and Zhongli have had two reruns.
And through all this, Geo has not had a new single character.
To be fair, in the same time frame, the only Pyro character to be released was one of the worst jokes of a 5 star in the game
It's possible we may not see much dendro after Fontaine that's why they bring out lot of dendro character in sumeru now..

The main thing holding it back at this point is that hydro and electro both have better reactions with dendro.

@@yaeismybelovedYou are a Cyno main you should know that no Electro characters can compete with their Archon. Cyno is made for Aggravate and Hyperbloom/Quick bloom, he is not a regular dps character that just hit Hard. He scales from EM. Hoyo Intentionally made him that way.

Dehya is gonna be great with fontaine & furina. Mihoyo playing the future impact right now.
Dehya is gonna work really well with lyney. She increases resistance to interruption, gives survivability, is pyro, and has a bit of sub dps element to her. She was definitely made to be run with lyney
