How to Check the Shutter Count on Olympus Cameras with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and PEN Lite E-PL6.

Here is step by step how to check the shutter count on most Olympus cameras. This will work for PEN and OM-D digital cameras, as well as compacts, and models made by OM Systems.

▶️ Step by step instructions:
1. Hold the MENU button down and turn the camera on.
2. Release the MENU button when the camera is fully on.
3. Press the MENU button again.
4. On the left, scroll to the SETUP MENU, which has the wrench icon.
6. Go to the DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS AND COLOR TEMPERATURE MENU, you can press OK or RIGHT.
7. Press RIGHT, INFO, and then OK
8. A screen that shows the model number of the camera will appear.
9. Press UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, SHUTTER, and then UP.
10. Pressing RIGHT will get you to the screen that shows the shutter count.
The shutter count will be displayed on the top line. There are four pages of additional information.
Different camera bodies will have slightly different screen and there can be more or less information displayed.🔚

Hi thanks for the video, I got black screen that display's number of my camera, but the second menu doesn't show up any thoughts why? I got oly e-m1 mark ii and I've updated the firmware as well

Tried many times with my E-M1 Mark II and it doesn't work. I got as far as that screen that shows the model number, but I can't get any further than that which is vexing. I have three E-M1 Mark III bodies and it works with them.

Does not work on Mark 2. = There are other parameters on the camera OMD EM1- Mark 2. After I watched your video and "found" the number. I've recorded it. After that, I took 8 frames. And I came back to look again. B - has not changed! But the MS : parameter has grown from 10179 to 10187 for my camera. Olympus Omd-1 Mark 2 - MS : - the number of shutter actuations.

on my e-m1 I have R: 000050 and B: 014000 - if R are the shots and B the shots with Ibis, how can it be possibile?
