I love this song. I always tell my kids, that are grown with kids of their own, my biggest regret is I was so busy taking care of my 4 kids, I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I wish I could have. My kids are hilarious and awesome. I tell them to truly enjoy the moments and make as many as you can. Soon they will be teenagers. You will really need those memories!
This one brought on the tears! As a single parent raising two boys I worked so much I didn't spend as much time with them as I wished, because I wanted to give them every advantage. It's only now in my later years that I wish I had worked less, and we could have lived with less, and we could have spent so much more quality time together. Those years flew by and I now have adult granddaughters who incidentally are too busy to spend much time with Grandma! Karma? Sadly hindsight is 20-20?
