And he went back in time to ensure ryu uses the no hado,How they should have did it,is instead of evil ryu's story being a what if-it should have been that the evil ryu storylines are just stories to show how ryu from that timeline became akuma.

I know Ono established that evil ryu is a what if character of ryu but hear my theory out. I believe the street fighter 4 version of evil ryu isn't actually ryu Storyline-Wise,he's actually akuma,and evil ryu's storyline is really set many years into the past,and we the players/Audience are looking at the story as he's if ryu. the reasons why I say this is because. 1.Evil ryu shares a lot resemblance to Gouki 2.Evil ryu oddly doesn't have a rival cutscene with gouken and come to think of it,he doesn't have one with Oni as well seeing as Oni was allegedly the one who gave him a whole in his chest. 3.I know you're going to say no Evil ryu is literally ryu,and he became evil because Oni punched a whole in his chest,the thing in the actual game,that's non canon,because we never see how E.ryu actually received the whole in his chest,the opening cutscene,shows him laying on the ground without an explanation,and due to the fact

I have theory what if evil ryu's story in sf4 is canon,but the character itself is not really ryu,what if it's actually akuma symbolically,and evil ryu's arc in sf4 is just telling akuma's story during his younger days when he was a young fighter,through ryu Evil ryu's is like a young akuma in his prime
