@@vileguile4 She's always been known to be kind of a b*tch, and Andy has always been known to be very quick witted. Bad move by Handler and she never had a chance. Some people find her funny, so she must at least be able to write a joke over time, but no way is she quicker on the spot than Andy. He could roast her all day.

Of all the hosts in late night, he got so disrespected. Except for Jimmy Kimmel, Conan has no one else even close to his ridiculousness. I'm hoping he'll be even more so on HBO!
I'm with you, man. I'm feeling such a sense of loss over this. I'm glad we still have the podcasts and upcoming HBO show but this thing and everyone associated with it was really special and there's no replacing it.

Yeah the chains were off. He didn't have to appease the boomer demo. Ironically, NBC did the same thing for Fallon when he took over in terms of letting him be ridiculous.
@@NamPham-jk5zc Totally agree on both Conan and Fallon. Except Fallon never left Nbc..just switched from 'Late Night With..' to The Tonight Show. He was so much better, more often at least, when he had Late Night. Way more candid, wacky, & not trying so hard to be liked ..and watered down.
I love it most nowadays, when he has a more improvised-ish moment with The Roots, or goes off on a more unscripted/un-planned personal tangent x] Or when he talks to someone musical, or even does musical 'bits'.. He sure comes alive (and seems more 'oh that'ss the real Jimmy we love..') whenever he does those things. But..unfortunately that doesn't happen nearly as often/reliably as when he had Late Night. We didn't entirely know what he had, back in those days lol.. But I will still use my Late Night With Jimmy Fallon mug and remember good times ;d✌

I think Conan is one of the few people who has mastered the comedic interview he is up there with Carson and Letterman in my book.

@@Chrisko1492 Ferguson is a legend. If interviews alone are to be considered, he tops Conan but Conan's sketches & remotes are phenomenal and in that respect he's better than all, even Carson (GOAT).
Agree with Carson but Letterman is the worst host ever imo. I will say though, many loved him which is why he was on for so long but I couldn't watch him.
@@tigersunruss I totally agree with you. Imo he's a product of hype done by Celebs of the industry. He wasn't bad he was nowhere near Carson or even Conan, Ferguson is in my top 3.
He has the seniority that comes with 28 years in the biz. He's definitely a legend and one of the defining points of my generation.
Conan has the most fun out of any late night host. So many memories.

Simply put, Conan has a wonderful way of bringing out the best in people without being heavy handed. He’s able to make guest and staff embrace their silly thoughts and stories without trying too hard that it comes across effortlessly to the audience. Most of all, I’m just really appreciative of how he has cared for his staff.
People don’t leave organizations, they leave managers. Conan is a great manager. Much love to you comrádaí

It's really odd that they didn't include them, as they're considered by many to be among his best ever recurring guests.
Even if they end up included in a second video, it still doesn't make sense for them to be entirely missing from the first (and thus far only) video which came out to coincide with the show ending.

Conan is a comedy machine gun, laying down that rapid fire. Andy is a sniper, he shoots less but never misses.
that Tig bit was one of my favorite things to ever see on tv
if you really pay close attention to who Conan has had on the show over the years… compared to the ‘jimmys’ & the other late night or even just talk show ‘hosts’. He has NEVER once had someone on to jus for the sake of having them on because they are ‘popping’ at the current time period… he always had people on that he genuinely enjoyed as individuals & he believed in their talent so he gave them that extra platform to showcase it naturally. Majority if not all of his guests were reoccurring guests over the years & even followed him over to TBS even with the knowledge that the show wasn’t getting the same attention of views as all of the other ‘late night shows’ at that time.
When he left the show (NBC cancelled his slot) he took all of his staff with him & paid out of his own pocket for them to get secure jobs & be able to stay as part of his team so they weren’t left completely jobless due to the NBC thing. He left no one behind despite being done so so dirty. That shows just how good of a PERSON Conan is off screen.. just as he is on screen. Extremely commendable thing to do & such a talented human being.
In tragedy only the best peoples stay with you…
