I'm a big fan of Brie, and I really liked the puffs. 😁 I have a weird palette. Lol
Raspberry and cream cheese could have been so good
I do like brie but I am not too sure on these... I love figs but not that keen on Oranges in my food. Depends what it is ofc. but I wouldn't usually go for anything with Orange in it.
In my opinion, these are a very odd choice for Walmart.

I like filo but with a different filling as neither of these flavour combos appeal to me. If you’d swap this out for feta and spinach I’m there😀. Thanks for the review.

Bummer these weren’t done with triple cream Brie… it’s creamy but without that gross tang. Wish these had been better. Thanks for trying them though!

I would do a pass on these just over the phyllo alone... I don't care for that flaky pastry texture.
Since we're mentioning frozen appetizers though, my #1 pick is chicken cordon bleu bites 😁

If you buy the Pillsbury Crescents pastry rolls and spread your choice of jam/preserves before rolling and baking, it tastes shockingly delicious. Learned this by mistake! Lol!

This is the stuff you get when you go to France. I might be ok with them because I do love sweet and savory, but they are just too expensive for the quantity you get. Maybe $2.
Joan Rivers used to say this is Fon-fon-fon type food, that upper crust transatlantic accent you hear in old movies from the 30s and 40s.
Here is the very easy appetizer I’ve ever had.
Saltine, spread with regular or whipped cream cheese, topped with pepper jelly. The three things together are so fantastic! The cream cheese makes it not too hot, like the cream cheese in poppers, and the slight salt of the saltines makes it not too sweet. Even Kevin might like the pepper jelly like that. Plus it’s very colorful at Christmas with the red jelly and white cream cheese.
Edit: you should try their refund policy just to see if they are being truthful. Stuff like this is why I’m just not cut out for ‘fancy’ Micheline restaurants. I like burgers, fries, green beans, desserts (and they would probably find a way to screw up the desserts! “Please try out new black olive cheesecake, and our beet-berry pie. Or perhaps you will love our radish and mushroom gelato?”
We have made that exact pepper jelly spread and enjoyed it.
These look yummy to me.. I love little tarts. . Perfect for a cocktail party. But they wouldn't go very far .😅

I'm sorry you were disappointed 😞 they are supposed to be more savory then sweet . Maybe they will come out with sweeter ones closer to the holidays 🤔

I agree, I was expecting a little bigger and sweet. What a disappointment. I like baked Brie with cranberry. These had potential. Thanks for a great review.
