This fire is an example of how quickly one's life can flip upside down. Even though the fire destroyed their possessions, they have something even more valuable, their friendship and love for each other.

that was adorable. the fire may destroy every tangible item in its path, but long live the memories and experiences that we carry with us.

Something similar happened in Reno a few years back albeit on a smaller scale. It was a warm winter day with crazy wind. A fire swept down the mountain burning homes and sagebrush then the next day the weather turned and we had rain and snow.

people need to use better materials than wood, when building homes. This is the outcome. The only thing left is the cement foundations. What an awesome thing to do, taking in a neighbour and friends.

All gone. People should help them. The feeling you have when realizing you have nothing anymore is like a sledge right in your face. Still you have to crawl back up no choice so a little help is wonderful.
