Something cathartic about coming out of your punk ass years and reconciling with your father who fought hard not to be taken under by the same streets that almost swallowed you in your youth, so that he could and WOULD give you everything.
Good fathers are hard to come by and it's unfortunate when sons wont take their love and wisdom until it's too late
Respect for the Bukowski narration in the beginning

I openly wept as I walked out of that place with my bro... this will never happen again
i came out of mosh retirement to see their actual last show in worcester, and i started crying as soon as they went on and never stopped.

I appreciate Tom O Bedlams reading of Charles Bukowskis Bluebird in the beginning
Apt for songs to scream at the sun

Bukowski
i have never heard of these dudes before but in 09 i wasn't listening to angry music anymore so i guess thats why. not bad but i prefer the music that goes best with thc like rebelution. the political ideoligies between punk, hardcore and reggae all seem to be the same and a lot of bands even combined reggae elements with punk and hardcore my faves are link 80 and falling sickness but i'm too old for that now. just gimme a bong rip and some chill reggae these days.
