Xfinity How To See Data Usage - xFinity Data Usage By Device - Comcast xFinity xFi Wifi Data Cap Usage Plan Limit Guide Help Video
In this video I walk through a simple and easy step by step instructions, guide, tutorial on how to see the overall data usage and data usage per device for your Comcast Xfinity xFi internet data cap plan limit. I hope this video was helpful and subscribe for more!
It's like Xfinity did away this ability to view each device. I was able to do i t earlier this year, and now with no changes to my equipment, I can no longer do it and Xfinity is telling me it can't be done. What kinda company is this? With this kinda nonsense, they actually expect people to get their new mobile phone service?
I think they did away with it too. Followed these steps and the by device data is gone
Same. I been trying to check which of my devices were using the most data and that page is blank now.
kinda dumb we gotta pay for data even tho we're paying for service and a router
The Network Activity panel is not visible. I think Xfinity might have removed the per-device usage option.
I'm looking like. Man I finally switcto using their xfi router and now I'm hitting my cap in data...? But now I can't see what device I actually pushing the limit.
@@ryansmiley2492 yeah some wunderkind had to make it more difficult to find the cheese. No idea where to find it now.
mine does not show network activity like yours
GREAT VIDEO, THANKS FOR THE INFO
WHY ARE YOU YELLING
They got rid of this feature
must of changed format , cannot see how much data each device is using , shame on xfinity
so scammy. about to go over the "courtesy" amount they gave as well. not going to pay if they hide a feature they clearly already have the ability to provide...
yeah this is bullshit. i'm in the same situation as you
Scam they removed this feature to scam.more people
I checked the overview page and it showed me within 4 days I've used 500 GB which is not real , I can't even check day to day usage .
this used to work but i cant seem to find out now. i think someone is stealing my wifi there are 9 devices that have been connected. and i was getting slow internet for a while, i wanted to see how much data they stole.
If anything just change your password on your wifi
Only available if you have xFi I'm guessing. I'm hitting my cap and we can't figure out why.
Found it, is there any way to get REAL numbers out of the Data Usage per device. Very High is not a very specific "number"
@@PoogiBear1 where or how did you find the PER device data usage?
you cant even view this stuff on ur pc anymore you need to download their stupid mobile app and even then they dont show the specific devices internet usage which is just really stupid
That's one of the reasons I bought my own modem and router.
followed along didnt show usage by devices.
How can I see my daily usage?
And there is no per-device info.
Completely misleading title. This doesn't show anything about "Data usage by device".
I totally agree. I used to be able to do this on the xfi app but they must have done an update that took it away. I can no longer find it as shown above either. :(
It does show what it says. Except it has been removed or something...
it used to work like that when he posted the vid and few months later they got rid of it, i am pissed cause i cant see who stole my wifi well how much data they stole
Scam alert don't use flex box. It will use all your data
Worthless. This video addresses data per device, but it does absolutely nothing of the sort.
So you can’t track history?
@@scorpian2729 somehow my dad can, I’m trying to figure out how so I can stop it or at least hide from it. It’s 100% possible I just don’t know how.
@@ArmanBaig how so? Like he can see your search history and the website?
@@scorpian2729 he somehow knows everything I do on the internet. What games I’m playing, what websites I’m reading, what porn I watch. Frankly it disgusts me that I have no privacy and I will be moving out as soon as I can afford to.
@@ArmanBaig that’s odd. I spoke to Xfinity recently and they said it’s not possible to check web browsing history
