I honestly think Ignaize's Marth is better than MKLeo's. Ignaize does more than just basic true combos... he can perform crazy strings and hard reads as well. I noticed he was missing a LOT of shield break opportunities in this match, though. However, he can take a major at some point if he studies this video and some other loses.
I feel so bad for Ignaize. That SD was mad unfortunate. That said, he proved he can take on top players with Marth. If he can cut his SD habits, he can be a top dog in no time. Even then, he's undoubtedly the best Marth main (even Leo couldn't pull off what this guy can).
I think the spike is only active for 1 frame, and whether it spikes or not purely depends on how much of the animation has elapsed, not which part of the sword hits luigi
@@dogyX3 Spike hitbox is indeed only active for one frame. It is placed directly under Marth and covers the whole sword but not his arm. Here it really looks like it should have hit but I think it connected on the frame right after.

I honestly think Ignaize will win at this rate. Marth doesn't allow Roy to be nearly as aggressive because he outranges him, and Marth can EASILY edge-guard Roy with almost anything lol. Kola would have to dominate neutral of he wants to beat Ignaize, but I know he can do it. This match-up would be sooo hype!
I’m looking in the comment section, and everyone is sort of against elegant already after the recent allegations. Hating on him (I’m talking to you Twitter) is just going to make things worse. He’s going through a lot of things right now, and has a really bad alcohol addiction. Trying to “cancel” and hate on him can really make things worse, and in his kind of situation, hate can really make someone do worse things, whether it’s to themselves or others. I’m saying everybody’s doing it, but if you are, please refrain from it.
Honestly cancel culture needs to shut the fuck up. I agree with you for the most part but I think these kinds of matters should be dealt with normally between two adults who are of age. That girl can’t just be like “I made a bad decision and got drunk and consented and I regret it. So I’m taking the metoo route”
He needs an explosive advantage state/punish game. He has some of the worst disadvantage and neutral in the game. Even with these insane combos he is only mid to high tier.

In a stream with Chickncup, Empty and a few of us were joking about how ignaize needed a new tag for Smash at UCR 2. At the first event, half of the players were smurfing with unhinged tags and grand finals was vtuber licker vs ignaize with 3rd place being hentai enthusiast. The idea of John_marth being his tag for the event was brought up and he rolled with it.
We should really be there for elegant and try to help him not make him worse. We all have problems and go through things some just really have a harder time dealing with it than others, that doesn't make them lesser than any of us, you could end up in the same situation or worse needing someone's help.(Were all humans please treat others better.)
