I’ve got this setup and it works great. Those little orange handles slide out 3 or 4 inches and it makes a big difference on leverage and they stay a little cooler. Just slide them back in for storage.

    Great video!
A quick food safety tip: when using a sauce from a jar, instead of dipping from the jar,
pour into a small cup or container, so your jar is not subject to cross-contamination.

@@KaylynnStrain Don't buy from this company. They have no customer service to speak of. Their product is very poorly manufactured. (the Cast Iron dutch oven has very uneven surfaces, a quarter sized large! The lid holder, charcoal holder and grill top aren't level with each other. Found one of the arms welded higher than another.) I spent over $200+, ... haven't even been able to use the product yet.
You can't return defective products with an RA# from them. But their phone number is just an answering service and emails get answered late and without adequate help or responsibility. And if you try to get resolve via their FB page, they will remove you. They don't allow negative comments about their products or their lack of customer service help.

Great video Ben, I've had this product for almost 2 years now and it's a GREAT product. I joined the kickstarter for their charcoal chimney as well and it's great because it packs down so small compared to a weber charcoal chimney starter (I made a video on the charcoal chimney versus the weber and the burn time for the campmaid was about 16 minutes for 40 briquettes)
Couple of things: on the charcoal tray, those red tabs pull out a few inches so that the red handles are not directly next to the tray. The whole kit will fit in a 8qt 12 inch dutch oven, but not the 6qt dutch oven. Also with the charcoal tray, if you're using it without the chimney starter, self lighting charcoals are best.
    Nice video

Nice review and what appears to be a very awesome product. The only thing I see that might be a issue is that the springs being subjected to hi heat will become annealed and not function over time.I just placed a order for the 8 pc. Kit

Living Survival I I meant more specifically the spring in the charcoal tray clamping device that definitely got too hot you couldn't hold it I think the spring in that overtime will fail. not necessarily the spring holding the lid. still an awesome freaking product like I said in my previous comment I ordered one so we'll see how it goes thanks

Cool idea but I wonder how it would hold up after multiple uses from the heat and eventually rust. That chimney I would think would end up warping after a couple of uses from heat and then not be able to fold up.

This looks very gimmicky to me. I just don't see the purpose of owning one of these if I already own a dutch oven, a fish fry kit, a bbq grill (both gas and charcoal). Maybe for car camping? But even then I have portable everything to grill and cook for half the price. Looks cool I guess because of its compactness and multipurpose functions, I just don't see me buying one. Just my opinion. I'm sure there is a market out there for it.
