This year it is "center" which has come in focus for good results, earlier it used to be coaching institutes. It is surprising what is the contribution of exam center in the performance of a candidate. It clearly indicates that some particular centers have been given "extra facilities" so as to produce good results.
Sir, I want to share something with you, I am from west bengal so I checked the data of a few dozen schools of WB... I noticed that many of the high marks ie 600+ and 650+ are concentrated in specific regions of many centres ie considering that every class room of a school has 20 aspirants... in many cases I saw that majority of the high marks have been scored in one or two classrooms of that particular centre. I believe the likelihood of this pattern is highly suspicious and this too should be looked into because a lot of cheaters in such classrooms can go scot free in this manner.

All that matters to top performing students in coaching centers is just 10-30 tough questions in the exam paper. What if from leaked question paper, these hard questions went into mock tests on last few days. A mark inflation of 30-50 marks is what we are talking about this years, which is just 8-12 questions - the tougher ones that differentiate the top. Let us not rule out the nexus with coaching centers
Increase 10-20 seats in every med college should be directed by supreme court to compensate students loss for the anamolies.
