@@justanother240 Sorry, I meant the Railway Rifle itself, not the ammo. I meant its easy to craft the spikes if you're a newish player. I hope no one is selling the 5-10 rifles I throw in the donation box.

I'm a new player and can't get along with the railway rifle at all, as it can only be used in VATS. When I use it outside VATS I shoot into the sky because of the heavy recoil 😅 and the problem of new players: even if we recreate railway builds, many builds are only usable with the maxed out legendary perk skills, that's impossible for new players. My AP is not enough to play with the railway.
New player here, level 140. This video was actually very helpful in getting the basics sorted. I roughly followed it, as best I could given I have limited legendary slots, and perk cards. I have more points in strength, which I filled with heavy gunner, and less perception, agility and luck, since I haven't leveled up the cards enough to need that many points. I am finding this setup pretty good, especially with a Fixer that has the good VATS perks on the 2nd and 3rd stars (Ghoul Slayer is the 1st star). I can kill a ghoul with 2 non-critical shots, and I get maybe 3-4 critical hits per mag. I was amazed to take out a Yao Guai with a single mag from the Fixer. I can still pull out the Quad Plasma Caster and it works well enough. The only thing that seemed to go backwards was the Plasma Rifle with Flamer barrel, but I have swapped to Holy Fire now instead. I read online that the Plasma Rifle is affected by Rifleman cards, even with the auto and flamer barrels.
Excellent. My only raised eyebrow is 'Enforcer' … with Concentrated Fire targeting limbs is super simple and makes that somewhat redundant as it is such an edge case. Like it's the difference between getting 30 carry weight from a mirelurk filet, or 75 with carnivore and strange in numbers
I understand the "lazy" aspect of this build but the legendary perk choices and not being bloodied is so bad compared to just being bloodied and using better legendary perks. Losing so much power for a tiny TINY bit of lazy. Seriously you gain so much power from being low hp unyielding and you are still basically an unkillable god for really not that much effort, you can easily put yourself into nerd rage just by using a gamma gun and gain MASSIVE power, Love the content, unfortunately hate this build Id argue taking more SPECIAL legendary perks is more lazy than what you have....you get to pick up extra perks like blocker, nerd rage, radicool, and you just get way more stats so you get 2nd shot crit for free in VATS with every gun along with more carry weight and just raw stats like exp gain from int, while still being an unkillable god
@@emhawkins3214 I understand your point, but it's also like actively making your character worse for the sake of roleplaying a lazy build, where you can retain a ton of value and still be just as lazy. You can have essentially the same build but do 50%+ more damage, hold 100+ more carry weight, guarenteed every second shot crit, have 50% more exp gain, have way more ap and ap regen, have 5 more perk cards of your choosing all for such a small cost, and arguably more tanky even with 80% less life all of these essentially make you even lazier
@@koopk1 And if that's what you find more fun, do that. I've ran a full health PA build for probably the past 300 levels and I have more fun being the guy who can collect ore, repair the rad scrubber, etc. without fiddling with rads. Nearly level 600 on this character, roughly 500 lbs of carry capacity, using holy fire and now cremator so AP regen isn't much of a concern, etc. I completely get I could make numbers get bigger in various categories, but it wouldn't be as fun or lazy *for me*. It's just more overkill. I have an optimized commando character as well and I haven't touched it in months. It's just not as much fun for me compared to my shotgunner, PA holy fire, etc that are objectively worse at the game.
@@emhawkins3214 PA builds are COMPLETELY different and are way better suited for this type of lazy build, I agree. You can't really compare the 2 at all is kind of my whole point. Commando VATS builds thrive on having enough ap to sustain dps. My whole point is specifically that non-PA commando builds and bloodied go hand in hand for virtually no trade off, you're just making your character objectively worse for making it worse sake. If you find that more fun, more power to you, but I personally think making yourself worse for no reason is fucking dumb. The best thing about full HP commando is that the build is "cheaper" but its kind of not when you look at the gear turtle showcases in this video, a lot of it is super expensive specifically rolled gear. This build is actually pretty horrible for "new" players in general, where as some baseline commando with literally any bloodied gun and unyielding pieces will carry you from the start of end game basically for ever. Also find it super funny that "fiddling with rads" is less time consuming and less complicated than getting into and out of PA or charging power cores. You can literally just use a gamma gun and shoot yourself in the foot twice and you are at 20% hp.

Search for begginer builds for the new railway rifle
Angry turtle has a video for beginner commandos as well just look it up on his channel
It's lazy in that it's low upkeep. No need to farm to keep it going, no need to craft certain buffs repeatedly, etc.
I see your carnivore for lazy and raise you survival shortcut, havent had to worry about food in ages and i get to eat whatever i want.
You could use perfect bubblegum and use the legendary perk card slot on something else. I did start out using survival shortcut before i had gold to burn. I still keep the syringes on me and will swap it back on when i need to restock. But i don't really think it's worth it to not use a food buff mutation. Like it's the difference between getting 30 carry weight from a mirelurk filet, or 75 with carnivore and strange in numbers
So far, only managed the pig mask from the updated list.
where did u get that backpack?
Neurogical warfare event? 11:17
You need to embrace the laziness by repairing with improved repair kits , I mean you would have hundreds like most full time players .
i have no civil engineering mods would secret service armor work the same way i have the jetpack for that
was that 900 caps for a hello sign😭😭
Why do people run 5 ranks in adrenaline? Don’t the extra ranks just increase damage by 1% and only when there’s a crowd of mobs?
After killing 6 things do you want your max damage increased by 36% (rank 1) or 60% (rank 5) ? Your choice.
Don't you find Glow Sight to be that beneficial?
Does anyone per chance have an anchorage ace theyre willing to sell
Bro just wanted to flex his mask 😔
Another great build.
Other than your character looking like they belong in Fortnite, great video and guide.
White Knight seems pointless. I play a lot and I only have to repair my armor once every week or two. Breaks much, much slower than weapons do.
What jerk would Kick Angry Turtle from their team…?
bounty hunter's scythe has been nerfed, please review
I just tested and it's the same for me as it was, no nerf detected
*Unstoppable
I never use Fireproof. Seems useless.
Angry Bird
I already got 3 glowing masks already
Cool story bro
Woooo
Noice
I understand the "lazy" aspect of this build but the legendary perk choices and not being bloodied is so bad compared to just being bloodied and using better legendary perks. Losing so much power for a tiny TINY bit of lazy. Seriously you gain so much power from being low hp unyielding and you are still basically an unkillable god for really not that much effort, you can easily put yourself into nerd rage just by using a gamma gun and gain MASSIVE power, Love the content, unfortunately hate this build
Id argue taking more SPECIAL legendary perks is more lazy than what you have....you get to pick up extra perks like blocker, nerd rage, radicool, and you just get way more stats so you get 2nd shot crit for free in VATS with every gun along with more carry weight and just raw stats like exp gain from int, while still being an unkillable god
At a certain point, overkill is just more overkill.
You can literally just use a gamma gun and shoot yourself in the foot twice and you are at 20% hp.
the only lazy builds are bloodied. Zero skill
