Sad story about that boat, it was used by Haitian to get out of Haiti , I was told they never found them. Don't know how much of the story is true. Great video again, I'm not sure I'm a big fan of cayo cruz , it was extremely windy for the eleven days we were there and that bus ride , I would go to Cayo Santa Maria if I had to do a long bus ride like that again, I think I will return to Cayo Coco for the xxxxxxx time, especially that my ex favorite resort has been renovated. The room look stunning though. I like your videos a lot, Cuba isn't for everyone, me and my girlfriend are over 50 , we have stressfull jobs, I want peace and quiet , no sellers on the beach and lazy days on the sand listening to the surf and the birds. This is why I keep coming back

We stayed in Cayo Cruz in March this year at Iberostar Esmeralda the beach was stunning the nicest one I have been to in Cuba and the Resort was beautiful will be visiting Cayo Cruz again we will have to check out this resort

Great video Mike just got back yesterday from Cayo went to daiquiri was very nice use two bottles of bug spray though. Awesome watching the kite surfers and barracudas in the water off the pier lol cheers keep up the great videos. The weather was beautiful only stormed once at night crazy thunder
I like the Iberostar (?SP) bella Costa right by the golf course . It's very small and old but you are right on the ocean the lunch buffet is outdoors feet from the water . The food is Cuba food , I always found something to eat . you said something about going in the summer to Cuba , I went in April one time and as a Canadian I honestly thought I would die from the heat there were times I had to go to my room to cool off . love the videos , looking forward to my next trip down.

My vote is for worth it 😃 We were in block 6, 3rd floor with ocean view. 800$ each, two weeks ago. Yeah, they ran out of chicken for two days, pineapple and guava for 1 day. Rooms were spotless, maid was awesome. By the third morning barman in main lobby, had my cafecito ready, as I was walking in. We had hotdogs and a fews smoothies at the counter in the small market next to the marina. Yummy 😋 Second time in Cayó Cruz and certainly not the last. Can wait for your review!

We were two resorts over at the Coral Level Esmeralda for two weeks, watched this Memories hotel being constructed. Very similar design cues to the Valentin and Iberostar Selection, which makes sense, all built by the same company. The Coral is a much more intimate, boutique resort by comparison. Say, a possible new video suggestion would be to compare the pros and cons of these new Cuban resorts vs the grand old resorts. Another great video.

I feel there isn't a lot of accessible resorts in Cuba, is that the case? That's so weird it's cooler there than in Toronto lol. That pool is HUGE! That room looks AMAZING! What do they do with the alcohol you don't drink? WOW that bedroom with a tub! A butler seems weird to me but you make a good point, that's what he's paid to do and Freddy likes tips. Every time I watch your videos I'm always looking for Cuba deals after lol. thanks for sharing Mike!

I know, I know, it's Cuba and we expected that but I think we were on a very off week because I have seen better selection after we were there but it was nothing like any of the videos I have watched of yours, food wise. Nothing was labeled at the buffet either so it made it hard. I think if we ever go back, I'd like to be somewhere more lively, with places to visit around you, maybe Veradero.

Hola Senior! How would you compare this resort with Grand Aston Cayo Paredon? I was looking at it since I enjoy newly constructed resorts and the nice modern rooms. Of course the beach is one of the main factors. Might be a bit hard to compare as you were here in low season vs Grand Aston in high season. Longer bus ride to Cayo Cruz but Adults only. I have a limited budget and Cuba is always great for that. with Sunwing I can do Montreal to this resort for only $850 and I get a free, upgraded ocean view room! I’m 95% sure I’ll book. Unfortunately the last time I was in Cayo Coco I stayed at the Melia and I had a bad experience. The staff are incredible, but they were so stingy with the food that I starved and lost almost 10 pounds. This is not good for me as I am underweight. So my my question would be is there enough food? Do they allow you to serve yourself or do they serve you. Is this a quiet resort or is it allowed party place? And I didn’t notice a few times you mentioned the bugs. How are the mosquitoes? I will be there in September which is hurricane season! Again, thanks again for this video. Thanks to you I finally found a place to book in September.😊😊😊

Cuba is becoming sketchy, seems to me they run out food only for the standard hotel part and now every single hotel has an adults only separate part, where people pays more and where they don't run out of things ! so if you pay more there is not shortages , I went to Cuba in may , i was seeing fruits but no fruits or cocktails so i asked can i have a juice, they say no, we don't have , but I'm seeing fruits how come you don't have fruit juice ? to make a fruit juice you should be at the adults only part ? so sketchy .
I don’t agree!!!! I’m at an adults only with Jenny in Varadero!!! Lots of Cuban tourists and good food quality, It depends on the resorts and the offering, I get it Cuba isn’t for everyone

That boat washed up during the week of February 22,2023. We walked that beach staying at Valentin Cayo Cruz, every day. Such a neat experience.

Cuba is becoming sketchy, seems to me they run out food only for the standard hotel part and now every single hotel has an adults only separate part, where people pays more and where they don't run out of things ! so if you pay more there is not shortages , I went to Cuba in may , i was seeing fruits but no fruits or cocktails so i asked can i have a juice, they say no, we don't have , but I'm seeing fruits how come you don't have fruit juice ? to make a fruit juice you should be at the adults only part ? so sketchy .
